How do we see the sting at the end of Ketu dasa?

As per the calculations the dasha sandhi (transition from previous mahadasha to next mahadasha) is 256 days into Ketu Mahadasha and 2 years into Shukra Mahadasha.

waiting for 2 years into Shukra mahadasa will need patience and really i don't have it now. As most of you have mentioned, i too am not really feeling like even giving a try to get something better in life. I am just taking life as its coming and this is not a good thing to do in your early thirties. I am just telling myself that i will enter Shukra mahadasha and something very positive is going to happen. I really need such event to boost my morale and get rid of negativity. I remember during Venus antardasha of Ketu Mahadasha, such events had happened. Hope god will be graceful.

I have found this to be not true at all....that there is a decline phase and build up phase like Pijan Lama says.

In fact I have seen a number of cases where the start of a new MD or anatra brings an immediate rapid change...throuhg a major event.
so many times people have landed promtions or new job offers or miserable sickness...bang at the start of a new MD

1 month into Venus and zilch zero good result.. Same negativity continues

But my ketu was not like this.. As shilpaji said, it started with a bang..It gave me severe ups and downs..I was drained in the starting 1 month only..then given a golden opportunity after first 6 months..my ketu-Venus period was brilliant.. Then again it drained me, no job with global recession...but suddenly I got the opportunity I so very much desired...however after that full 4 years it drained me.. I fell madly in love broke up 1 year before ketu dasha end,since then have known deep depression and misery with negative career growth..I earned but money didn't stay.. Got too much involved in astrology and religion..and things aren't looking that good anymore..

Same here...I don't know if dasa sandhi is applicable to everyone's chart..depends on the intrinsic strength of the chart..my struggle started in the last 6 months of mercury-Saturn until ketu-Venus- and then Disaster struck again in Rahu antardasha and this was 4 years ago..have now entered another Black Hole called Venus Mahadasha

How is your Venus Dasha Thus far. Steadily getting better or stagnant or worse than ketu ?

I guess the same happened during Ketu period as well,we did not fell like that we entered Ketu period till Ketu-Rahu hit us badly. Isn't it? Before that at the start of Ketu period it was just minor changes here and there.

Nope , my poor phase started in the last 6 months of Mercury-Saturn , continued into ketu-ketu before Venus Bhukti turned it around for almost 2 years till disaster thy name ketu-Rahu struck and this was exactly 4 years ago- Oct 2009

his lagna is libra, mars+jup in 4th, rahu in 2nd, moon in 3rd and 1st house- venus-sun-mer. sat in 6th. somewhere rahu-sat was the period which bought miseries in his life (not sure).

My Venus in fct is ascendant lord, more so is placed in 2nd house with shani and mercury..Shani is my yogakaraka.. And 2nd house lord is in 1st. Venus is exalted in d9 and d10.
I think it's a favourable place for Venus, yet m not getting any positive vibes.

I meant my Venus PD starts in Feb 2014 and Venus is my YK (Aquarius Asc). Presently I am passing thro' a terrible Guru MD since Jan 2011. Right now it's Jup MD - Sat AD period running.

Venus Mahadasha will start in Feb, 2014. So far i can't see any changes its all same. I am getting more impatient now. Something positive must happen which trigger positivity in me.

Devastating it would have been demented. The way I pretended after the break-up to hide my cries and my changing hues was so tough. And from with-in, the pain and the disastrous career added fuel to the fire. And to separate in a way where neither of us were at fault and the brute force and harshness and my inability to fight the odds (Politicians) was so depressing.

But my Ketu took 2 years to show his colors. Nothing was sudden except for that relationship part. After that I kept going into a downward spiral.

@rahul-2012; dasa sandhi is taken into consideration for partners in business/marriage purposes;Not for individuals.
sandhi means union.If a dasa of the native coincides with dasa sandhi of the partner/spouse then only it is studied
in detail.

What are the bad points about your venus in terms of aspect, rasi, lording etc.. U have told earlier ur's is standalone. How are the numbers part? Amsabala? BAV, SAV? Shadbala? I got to know recently D60 has got more weightage. How s ur D60? And where is ur moon in the chart. How do we analyse the strength of moon - since you said shravana venus will function according to moon's strength?

Excellent question- Saturn/Venus I don't remember as it ran between 1-3 ,Mercury /Venus was good and so was ketu/Venus-Venus bhukti in ketu MD was my only pleasant memory. I don't know how to interpret Amsabala's -If you or anyone on this thread has some knowledge, please throw light on it

Venus is in my lagna and lagna has SAV of 33- 2nd highest in my chart. Ketu was in 2nd and 2nd house has only 20 -the lowest in my chart. Ketu/Rahu have no BAV's while Venus has BAV of 6 out of a maximum of 8

Shadbala wise Venus is the 2nd strongest planet after Saturn

Yes D60 has more weightage but is very sensitive to time even in say 10 sec intervals- But assuming my TOB is correct- Venus in D60 is in Libra ,its own sign

I have looked at every possible Div chart in both JHora and Parashara's Lite And Venus is not Debilitated or heavily afflicted anywhere but I am not an astrologer so it may be Scratch the Surface and it's Hollow underneath kinda situation -Why So, I don't know

Again I do not Expect be a Millionaire or a Celebrity overnight. All I want is to have a Decent Stable career/Relationship so that later on in life when I look back at least have a sense of Satisfaction.

that's a good question ..But Ketu AD are shorter Say if you are Running Sun or Mars MD then ketu AD will be a few months so tough to judge. I felt all what I wrote above in Ketu MD -
