How do we see the sting at the end of Ketu dasa?

Pretty much the same here despite Venus being 10th lord in my case -Years of rejection has sapped away all the energy -20 more years of agony and I can safely kiss my life goodbye

I know, with Venus in Lagna what kind of person is from inside, my dad too had venus in lagna with sun-mer. He was jobless for 10 long years and along with that he had a big family to take care of...He struggled, worked like a dog to earn bread and butter for the family...and when he died he left us a huge property and all his children are well settled ( i too was till 2 years back). That period was of malefic Rahu...when he was jobless, when he went through great humiliation....But that period taught him alot, he met his Guru and I remember he told us that he never missed his prayers.
I know it is tough, I too am going through it, but the best thing is that it has passed away....we have gone through it and have payed back all, the baggage that we were carrying is empty now....
i do not know, i think i am telling all these things to myself...but please ...do not get dishearten.

20's is the time when u make your career and settle down, to go thru such dasha as ketu in what should have been the golden decade of my life is very unfortunate.. maybe that the reason i want venus to start showing its results ASAP, atleast i will be able to salvage whtever is left of this golden time.

Oh My God.... YES YES YES...He was fun loving - very much , humorous- true, easy going- very true, emotional- so true, great singer, hardworker- very much, and short tempered.


I remember, you mentioned once that you were angry with your dad, dont do that, just let the time pass away. I have learned very harshly that the main culprit is TIME and not humans.

And yes, my dad was deadly good looking...i have not seen anyone as good looking as he was, so far yet.

My intention was not to dishearten or discourage anyone. But there are days when one is down and out and yesterday was one of those days.. And you are right we may have to face more misery and sorrow in the future but the past cannot come back and the future is unknown- so if one is going through a rough time in his/her present life ,it can seem insurmountable. A weak ketu would have delivered malefic results irrespective of the age at which a native runs its dasha..I entered it @ 25 -Had It ran at say 15 ,it would have messed up my education, at 25 it destroyed my career, say in the 30's or 40's it could have ruined one's marriage/relationships/family life and in old age destroy one's health

It is a karmic and a brutal period -There is nothing we can do to change it and I definitely do not want to go back to being 25 again..!! I have had enough ketu for this lifetime

But, I am not that deadly good looking guy More often girl children are more attached to their dad's. And guys are attached to, pampered by their mom's I am fine with my dad. If I am unhappy with him, its just within. Not shown explicitly. Neither I have that courage.

But after that long struggle, he gained everything and was back to conquer this world again. And he did as a more refined person, more stable and mature & spiritual.
I do not know what i write here makes sense to you all, but actually i tell all this to console myself and gain strength by remembering all this, so that i do not become weak no matter what be the circumstances. My sat sub period has started showing it colors, and it is becoming more difficult for me day by day again. I need strength to pass this away too.

I guess the same happened during Ketu period as well,we did not fell like that we entered Ketu period till Ketu-Rahu hit us badly. Isn't it? Before that at the start of Ketu period it was just minor changes here and there.

You are right, he recovered in Jupiter MD. That is what i was trying to tell, he lost everything suddenly and gained back everything after going through a period of prolonged suffering and humiliation. And along with that he gained respect and goodness, maturity, stability of mind and dignity as well. Herra bhi tarahasgne ke pehle usko ragadte hain tabhi heera chamakta hai... main unki tarah na bhi ban paaon lekin agar itni ragdai ke baad bhagwan muzhe thoda bahut tarah dein wahin kaafi hai. aisa na ho ki poori life bas ragdai hi chalti rahe...that would be horrible. I tell all this to myself but since we all have become friends i tell this to u all also

his lagna is libra, mars+jup in 4th, rahu in 2nd, moon in 3rd and 1st house- venus-sun-mer. sat in 6th. somewhere rahu-sat was the period which bought miseries in his life (not sure).
