My birth time was said to be 10:30 am
I use 10:14, since it is the time I got rectifying my own chart, using KP astrology and softwares, etc.

The Diurnal positions of the planets can be a means to rectify the lagna.
The longitude of the ascendent minus the longitude of the major planets, Rahu-Ketu-Jupiter-Saturn, are their diurnal positions. 90º, 180º and 270º from each of these points are just as effective for transits.
Example
ASC 3º pisces = 333º
saturn 4º capricorn = 274º
jupiter 16º cancer = 106º
rahu 3º capricorn = 273º
ketu 3º cancer = 93º
The Duirnal position of the planets
Saturn 29 TAU
90º from there is 29 LEO
180º from there is 29 SCO
270º from there is 29 AQU
Jupiter 17 SCO
90º from there is 29 LEO
180º from there is 29 SCO
270º from there is 29 AQU
Rahu 0 GEM
90º from there is 0 VIR
180º from there is 0 SAG
270º from there is 0 PIS
Ketu 0 SAG
90º from there is 0 PIS
180º from there is 0 GEM
270º from there is 0 VIR

Rahu, ketu, Saturn and Jupiter transiting over any of these apots will trigger a major event
•when an significant event occurs,measure the difference between one graha and its closest triggering diurnal point.
•That diurnal point then changes to become the actual degree of the transiting graha.
•in so doing, the difference between the diurnal degree of a graha and a transiting graha, becomes the degree you add to the ascendent for rectification.
ie
Jupiter within 1 degree of a significant diurnal position, the diurnal position then becomes the transiting position of jupiter.
by doing that, you have added/subtracted 1 degree from the ascendent.
This method is then used to see other important dates, and further rectified

It has been said that if saturn and jupiter are in the same house as rahu and ketu, this diurnal method of BTR is no longer valid, but I see some events that are spot on, after I have rectified my chart.
I have found this to be not so true.
