I fine, got busy with my son's admission, so were running here and there over the weekend.

I just had a glance at these sites and i could not understand...I actually looked at my software jhora for shadbala value, it is 3 there. I do not know if it is correct what i looked at.

Yes admission went well, after a long and tiring one and half month process, tomorrow we are going to deposit fees and close it. I am happy about it.

I don't think it would be advisable or practical to just take shadbala as a stand alone factor...That's why astrology is a vast science..Shadbala basically talks abt the various directional(s) strength of a planet.It is one of the factors to judge the strength/weakness of a house/planet..eg Sun gets directional strength in the 10th house but for Cap Asc if it is in the 10th -it will be in libra and Debilitated..!!

I think the only question I want an answer is, how will be my Venus Dasha, this Ketu is one of hopeless period, i have become too lazy and feel so lethargic all the time, have lost all hopes and motivation for myself....in that sense, with so many negatives by Venus being debilitated, in enemy sign in d1 and all, I just want my venus period to come out be good...nothing else..

This exactly what ketu does.. Make u disinterested in competing, you become okay with everything that comes ur way..start living life with the attitude like what max would t do to me after all this.. Ego gets completely shattered..things earlier u thought demeaning wud loose their meaning.. Everything wud seem distant with no motivation for achieving it..

I think shadbala ratio is calculated by taking combustion et all effects into consideration..so shadbala is after combustion..

and yes you are right- ketu is all about living in the present which is easier said than done when the going is tough -Any individual who is strong enough to lead a detached life from this materialistic world will breeze through ketu periods - But I am not that guy- I do not have the mental wherewithal to lead a detached lifestyle.!

I think we are actually searching for good points abt our chart Since we have no knowledge on astrology, when we find something convincing, we as amateurs get our eyes lighted up and think - Ok now, thats it, we have found the golden nugget One leaning is that, predictions are really hard to make. Same here, except that I have a son to take care of......I am relieved that my son does not have to go through ketu md in his lifetime. The thing is even though we all admire Swami Vivekananda but no one want their children to have suffering in their life, the way he had, we all want just good things for our child....There is no end to this maya....true....earlier it was like "i want this for myself", then it is like "i want this for my child".

The thing is even after reading from these sites, I could not understand much ....
It needs a lot of experience to understand this science....

I think right now we need one more member who has passed few years in Venus MD after running Ketu period like us... ....may be that person can give us some picture...

Here are some important events - Job change, Got dream offer in March, 2007 with really good hike. Went to different city. Got married in Dec, 2007. In June, 2008 returned back to my home city with very good hike again. But in the new job, couldn't get along felt extremely uncomfortable in new organization, left in a jiffy after a some disagreements - this was in August, 2008. However, luckily i could find other job with same salary immediately.

Overall i was quite optimistic, cheerful during March, 2007 to Sep, 2008 and was getting paid much much better.
I was also blessed with a son in Jul, 2009.

How getting a good job offer in Ketu antardasha can be explained - as it happened in March, 2007 ? And if Ketu antardasha was benefic, how overall Ketu dasha is proving to be frustrating now ?
