The reason why I asked is I cut my finger into the bone once very badly. It needed few stitches and wasn't able to use that hand for a few days. I have had two very minor road accidents in which I did not get injured, but I was the driver on both occasions and I was not a fault again. One happened yesterday though. I read in a website that Ketu period can give injuries. So asked. How bad was your injury Akansha?

I cut my finger and it was pretty bad, I had stitches and for 3 months i was unable to use my finger.

Even I have stomach issues and was pretty serious during rahu and early part of jupiter. But my understanding is the stomach caused all the other health problems including Bone pain, anxiety, fear and vit deficiency. It is still there, but manageable.

Again same, even I had stomach issues whole of rahu period, started somewhere in middle or rahu period and lasted till early part of jupiter, it vanished on its own now. Even I used to think the same that my stomach problem is the cause of my other problems. I do not have it now, very recently i started taking Amla juice empty stomach in the morning, and it is a good may be u can also try.

Yes, we all 3 have Venus in ascendant, had it not been 10th lord, i would have been thinking what benefit it has being in Ascendant . My most of the Dcharts, have same lagna i.e leo with Venus in Ascendant. And even if not same lagna then also venus in ascendant. I do not know what does it mean. venus is not conjunct any planet.I will have to check the nakshtra, i do not remember.
Sat periods so far had been challenging, i really do not know what else is in store for me for the next ketu period.

Venus for your ascendant is 5th lord as well i guess, so it must be yogakarka being lord of kona and kendra....isnt it?

Yes Venus is YK for my Asc being 5th/10th lord. Venus in your chart is quite strong if it also in Leo in d-9 and d-10 ...So in a way throws a benefic aspect on the 7th house of relationships from the Asc

In d9, venus is not in lagna it is debilitated and in 2nd house virgo. Lagna is leo in d9.
In d10, it is in lagna in capricorn.

Now when I think of it, I remember reading that Ketu is like Mars, and Mars is the karaka of injury and accidents and surgery, so Ketu can give the same effect like Mars in its period. In my Ketu MD, I had cavities in my teeth and had toothache all the time due to that. I also was very susceptible to cold and would get a bad cold always. Tell me one thing, though: is your Ketu anyway connected to Mars?

My Venus is placed in the 8th house in Taurus sign—my lagna is Libra. Being in the 8th house and aspected by Saturn it has given me really tough times all through the Venus MD. 3 more years of it are left, after which I hope to get some relief in my Sun MD—Sun being the 11th lord in the 9th house with the 9th lord, Mercury in my chart.

By the way, 5th house is the house of stomach, so your Rahu if it is connected to the 5th house can give stomach issues in its period.

Rahu and Ketu dashas represent Karmic debts (What kind of Debts I don't know but I think for ketu the debts will be related to the house it is sitting in) especially if one hits these periods early on in life..Rahu is 18 years long ..God forbid if ketu had been equally long .!!!

Hopefully it is good ..difficult to say as I am not an Astrologer (and as myhead wrote half baked knowledge is equally dangerous) ..but Venus is known to do well in lagna if not receiving malefic aspects or conjunctions.. How was Venus AD's in the past eg Ketu/venus, Mercury/Venus..This might give you a general idea what kinds results it gives when it comes along although it will vary and depend on the MD lord also..Deb in D-9 might weaken it a bit but not destroy it completely

I am unable to get into specifics like wealth/money issues coz I am myself struggling to understand my chart and worried sick abt my own future and trying to dig myself out of a hole ,let alone advise others on their future !

Clueless Akansha.. But should have been something grave. It has been quite a roller coaster ride.. One day you feel ok and suddenly goes awfully bad the next day. Become very sensitive too.. For me the solution is to pray, pray and pray. In what way was it miserable?

Yesterday was pretty bad, another attack of depression, still sinking in...and do not know for how long it will be like this.

I am wearing rudraksha and gives me a bit of relief. Don't know if that is a placebo effect. Try if u wish to.

I have no idea relagrdng what/which rudraksha to wear, please suggest me. But yes for past three years I am doing Rudrabhishek puja at home.

And just like you, I am worried about my Venus position/combustion too.. Half/no astrology knowledge - dangerous.

My issue is kind off being negative and not able to put 100% efforts bcoz of negativity and is hurting my chances. Hope you are not too much negative. And aerobics helps me release stress. U can try that too, gives courage for a brief phase at least. Taking B vits can help too. Stress/stomach disorders depletes them. I don know if this makes sense, but u can try. No harm.

This exactly is my condition, yesterday's mess was because of my negativity. We had an interview yesterday, and the moment I entered in front of the interview, it was like flood of negative thoughts started coming to my mind, I was numb for a while, they asked a question and instead of answer coming to my mind, thoughts like I am a looser and I am no worth, rest of the people looks so happy and i am miserable as I am not getting results in whatever i do....all negative thoughts started coming to my mind.This, irrespective of the efforts/hardwork/energy/time that I have put in last years, I sort of failed at the end moment. I hate myself for this. I did not answer question though the rest of the questions I answered well....but that first question ruined the game completely.

I want to come out of this negativity/depression...only prayers give me peace and nothing else in this world.

Do you get weird dreams? I get dreams of visiting temples, seeing shiv lingam's (too often), running for life, riding on an elephant, chasing or being chased etc...

I think we r getting too much obsessed with astro now and kind of blaming everything on planets May be true.. I don kno.. Since we have things in common, looks like true.

Probably i would have ended up at asylum if ketu too had been 18 years...rahu AD period for one and half years had made me mad/insane/depressed/lazy, which i think will take another 3 years to come out of my this condition.

Thanks, MyHead, for telling me the planetary placements for your chart. I was looking for a connection of Mars with Ketu, but it is not there in the chart. Ketu period being so difficult, honestly speaking, doesn't make much sense to me as the dispositor of Ketu, Venus is well placed in the lagna in your chart.

Was reading somewhere that Venus in the Asc also makes one highly materialistic. All 3 of us have it in the lagna so maybe Ketu is trying to teach us a lesson by forcing us to face rejections and humiliations so as to make us more mature ..I don't know. But I do know if there was no Ketu period and had I gone straight from mercury to venus dasha I would have drowned myself in the potion of ecstasy..!!

I keep day dreaming a lot even at work but then reality bites and brings me back with a thud.Maybe the best remedy in malefic periods is to suffer through it and bite the bullet but that's easier said than done
