Upapada lord in upapada

Dear learned members,

Please throw some light on this.I read somewhere that if Upapada lord is in upapada itself it will cause the death of the spouse. I always thought if the planet is its own sign is considered strong .How is bad for the relationship then.

Lord of UL in Ul is gud. But we shd also analyze the 2H & 8H from UL, planets aspecting UL & 2H from it.
The claim that lord of UL in UL acts as maraka is wrong.

Sorry for posting this question on someone else's thread. My second from UL is aspected by ketu from it's 5th aspect. Is this bad? What does signify. I've hears ketu is a benefic for relationships.

@vinda : If u carefully study u will find even numbered rasis cannot become either Upa pada /arudha lagnas.So i don't think much importance need to be given to them.In many cases just they don't work at all.

srcs you are incorrect. Even numbered rashis do become UL and AL.

@vinda ; I expected it .UL is based on 12th lord & AL is based on lagna lord. Even numbered rasis
(not even/yugma rasis) counted from 12th house can't become UL & also AL from lagna.
