Hi Yellow.. Thank you for giving time to my query.
My husband's career is not going too well.. which has resulted in tension at home too. He is in a dead end, no growth IT job for last 3 years. His company also is not doing good in its business and is downsizing. Not much increment/no promotion either. He has been trying to change for last 2 years, but not getting any opportunity. He has also been looking out for a foreign opportunity for last 2 years. Twice it was dangled in front of him. But it never took shape to reality. As I said earlier in my thread, I even quit my job once because of this. But it didn't happen. He is 2010 pass out MBA finance from a good institute in India, but things are not happening for him. Due to all this, he has become very frustrated. Its putting a huge strain on our relationship as well. With financial troubles also.
Sometimes I also feel we are not very compatible as a couple though our Gun milap was above avg.
His nature and personality are completely different from mine. Though I will say he is a mature, level headed and calm person. But I just have a feeling that our marriage may not be strong enough to hold us together.

I checked his chart. He is running Venus-Venus period now. Venus as ascendant lord in the 9th house with 2nd and 5th lord, Mercury shows good fortune, success, and wealth. But then Venus is 6th lord also. As 6th lord, it shows struggles, health issues, problems with wife, and problems to/with father. It shows a lot of mental tension as it is with 5th lord, Mercury. I would have expected him to get a good change in job in this period and also foreign journey as the period is indicating that, but it seems it is showing only the negative effects, maybe because he is running the first phase of sade-sathi since the last 1.5 years.
He has started sade-sathi now, and his Sun AD which comes next won't be good for him as it is placed in the 8th house with Ketu and aspected by Saturn. It shows problems at home, lack of mental peace, troubles in general and health issues and intrigues in work place. It can bring problems in married life also as Sun is the 6th lord in the d-9 chart.
He has a good chart for career, so he will do well from 2016 when his Mars AD will start as Mars is in the 10th house in his chart. Mars AD will take him abroad also, I feel. He has foreign job connection in his chart as 12th lord Mars is in the 10th house.
Coming to marriage, Jupiter-Moon in 7th house is good, but Jupiter is 8th lord and Moon is debiliated, so they won't give much good effects. 7th house is in papa-kartari yoga with malefics in both sides. So I will say there will be some problems in married life, but as there are 2 benefics in 7th house, Venus is well placed in 9th house, so marriage will not break. But the next 2-3 years will be difficult in respect to marriage as he will get Sun and Moon AD's, Sun being in the 8th house afflicted, and Moon debiliated in the 7th house. Saturn will also transit to the 7th house next year over the Moon, which is a bad transit.

I understand that he is running through good period but somehow the first phase of Sade Sati is blocking the good effects and he is only getting delays and failures. We have to wait till 2016 for good period to start. But I hope he at least gets a change of job in between, because 4 more years here will probably destroy him. Yes you are right, his career should be good because Mars is exalted in 10th house! Which ideally should take him to a very high position. I don't know why he is facing these kind of situations.
You are also very right about the good yoga in 7th house - Gajakesari Yog. I had only one question about the moon which you said is debilitated. I think his moon is Vargottam with same house in placement in Navamsa. Will that not block the harmful effects of debilitated moon? Actually I have very basic knowledge of Astrology, so please excuse me if my question looks odd to you.
Regarding the Papa-kartari yoga - well, can somehow the malefic lords be propitiated?

Could you please take a look at my chart...I have no idea when would troubles end...always one thing or the other...
My mother just had a brain tumor surgery and had another seizure post surgery... my relationship which was gonna lead to marriage broke off along with my engagement...Nothing seems to work ever since rrahu mahadasha started... will my remaining mahadasha be equally adverse?

Sun the 4th house lord is exalted in 12th house so there will be less peace in your home and it also creates problems to your mother. 4th house deals with Mother, vehicles, house, lands, immovable property, motherland.
It is my personal experience that good planets in 12th house causes lot of losses to that house and its lord.
In your case it is 4th house. So there will be losses related to that issue.
You will have have peace if you are far away from your native place, maybe abroad. Also 7th lord mars in 8th house is not good. Saturn is in 7th house. I think you will get happiness after Ur marriage and also when you work abroad.

Thank you kartik... I am indeed away from my birth place and yes rahu mahadasha brought lots of troubles for home especially mom...
u sure life will be better after marriage? I thought my marriage will be miserable ....do you think remaining rahu mahadasha is more trouble? I have dealth with issues related to education, money, immigration, relationships, deaths and surgeries and constant upheaval of home base...I am scared if I get married, life would be worse... with Saturn in 7th and 7th lord in 8th

Since I am going thru rahu mahadasha, I would love to post my views as well....
I hav surya rahu in aries in 12th house and mar placed in eighth house saggitarius...
Lagna lord venus in Taurus opposite Saturn in seventh scorpio...
Moon in virgo in fifth house, Jupiter in aquarius in tenth house, mercury in pisces 11 th house...
My rahu mahadasha started in 2005 but the problems and responsibilities started from beginning of mars dasha.
Rahu - Rahu- moved home from one coast to another yet again (after multiple moves through out life) for better lifestyle after huge financial scarcity and for the lack of better words... moved from the slums to a little better place...it broke off my relationship... I had three surgeries... my mother lost her voice partially due to tumor on vocal cord area... I had immigration probs and had to leave the country during rrahu rahu venus and everything was better in rahu rahu sun.
Rahu Jupiter- was a relief for a bit but my education suffered and I spent most of my time taking care of my brother whose growth was stunted due to late birth and I spent most of the time in hospitals, schools, or home with responsibilities but was lot better than not having money to even eat food or get an education.
Rahu Saturn- coincided with my sadesati... toughest phase of my life... constant anxiety, strained relations with friends and family... got secluded with career not workin.... but the good part was I got spiritual and got into astrology and focus on school during super rough times... my rahu shani just ended on june 21st with my mothers brain tumor surgery and 3 siezures before and after... I hope she recovers in rahu mercury dasha of mine... my engagement broke up recently again... I am lookin for a job now...

Hi! I wonder why engagement breakings is such a common feature in Rahu mahadasha, I also faced this. And I still hope that it is repaired...

well my first relationship officially broke up in rahu rahu shani and my second relationship/ engagement broke up in rahu shani.... I dread any combination of rahu shani in dasha now

Rahu in 8th house and it will start from July 30th .
If u take Rahu and ketu Position as True , you will get Rahu in 9th house. But if u take Rahu Position as mean , u will get Rahu in 8th house.
I think the Dasha will be good.

Rahu is good in the chart but the problem is 2 important planets Venus, Saturn are in 12th house , which creates disturbance. Even in Moon chart , Saturn and Venus are in 8th house.
You need to propitiate Lord Shani and Venus by doing the remedies.

Regarding issues with father... both absence and constant 6/8 angle interaction was the issue but I believe it is all correct coz this is how I will pay off my karmic burden.... coz I intuit that the issues with my father will be repeated in my marriage where my husband will feel I have fantasies of globe trotting and being a big winner while putting the family at risk of instability ... so I have no clue if or ever marriage would happen but after multiple attempts of reading my chart and getting it read by multiple people, I have accepted it as some huge karma that I need to pay off inorder to embrace my spirituality wholeheartedly.... but guru being atmakaarak and in tenth on D9 and D1 does help me stay sane where my arudha lagna gives me a good public image and optimism in crisis...
Regarding Rahu mercury--- it is getting better after rahu shani... I did get a job but im not sure how it will be as I am teacher and my contract starts in mid august. Right now I am just taking care of mother after brain tumor surgery and catering to my home...in hope of ensuing dasha being better....
When u say kata dasha may give union... do u mean rahu mercury ketu? I doubt that coz I heard that ketu periods r not good for permanent relationships.... whatever ketu does, rahu undoes.... I am amateur at astro so no clue!

Just wanted to give some feedback. Saidhavi and Kartik were correct in their analysis. My brother finally passed his exams today, which he had been trying to complete for years. This also means the new qualification will definitely help him rise in his profession. As predicted, his Rahu dasha is proving to be beneficial to him. Rahu is in 10th house in Aquarius, and currently he is in Rahu-Rahu.

Right now going thru antardasha of Jupiter and things are not good, I am almost in state of depression.
Please help me !!!!!!!!

Please look into my chart, I would be really grateful to all the fellow learned boarders of this forum.

Kota( Rajasthan)
Going thru rahu mahadasha with AD of Jupiter. I am in real mess right now.
1) Lost my job 7 months before.
2) Financially not in good position
3) Everything going haywire, with lot of thoughts in mind and not able to execute any one of them
4) Getting obsessed with astrology(I like this part only of this dasha)
Remedies I am doing:
a) Hunuman Chalisa Twice a day
b) Rahu mantra "Om raam Rahave namah" 108 times daily
c) Visiting shiv temple daily and offering water to Suraya Dev daily from last 4 years.
d) Feeding dogs daily
Please help me, I am in dire straits currently and desperately looking for some help.
