8th midnight 2am is 9th early hrs 2am for all astrological calculations .
Vedic astrology goes by tidhi (lunar day) which starts from Sunrise of 8th and ends at 9th Sunrise.

such mid-night births straddling sun set &next day sun rise according to Hindu astrology is udhayam udhyatvaaram is previous English calendar date/next English date mentioning week days to avoid confusion.
But all the software are designed from 00hrs to 2400hrs.u 've not given the year.Let us say saturday night u r born. Then u should write sat.day8thFeb/sunday 9thfeb of that year.
