He tells so,as per my knowledge,there will be 2 reasons for it.
1)he might have failed in love and thus he is telling so.
2)he might wanna study more.

Lagna changes by half a minute,please post some events like education completion,job joining to rectify birth time if required.

He completed his masters education in May/June 2008 in US and got a job immediately in US itself. He is continiung in the same job there now. Hope this info will help.
