Dear Janaki ma'am,

You might be interested in my horoscope. Never married. Maybe delayed marriage, either love or arranged. I prefer love marriage because I am naturally inclined towards it. But not sure what's promised in my chart.

Birth details: 25.11.1984; 4:56 a.m.; Mangalore, India; Gender - Male

Saturn sits exalted in the Libra Ascendant. Please have a look. Would appreciate your observations on Saturn's influence in my chart. Thank you.

Best regards,
yashwanth1984
Yashwanth,

Saturn is exalted and in Nk of Jupiter who is in Multrikona Rasi. Saturn is also placed well in D-9. Saturn is well placed and should give good results in his dashas. Is your career related to communication/writing?
7th lord Mars is exalted, Mars and Saturn aspecting 7th house. You are a mangalik. Venus is in Jupiter's sign and in close conjunction and placed in Kanya in D-9. Married life will be okay.

I think you can go for arranged marriage and a match might come from maternal side. You can get married in upcoming Venus dasha with favourable transit of Jupiter in gemini.

Yellow,

I cant think of any reason of why it happened. Maybe Rahu influencing 3rd house somewhere as 3 rd house also relates to our mind - sensitivity, confusions, mental changes etc.

Dear Learned Friends:

I have an Aries ascendant with Moon in Libra; Sun n Mars in Pieces; Rahu n Ketu in Taurus n Scorpio resply; Jupiter in Gemini; and Mercury, Venus, and Saturn in Aquarius (DOB: 7/4/1966, TOB: 7:20 AM, POB: Tumkur, Karnataka). I'm a divorce n had a late marriage at 32 though my Saturn is in his own house in 11th. I request u sincerely to give ur opinion on this and to throw some light whether there is any chance of a second marriage and its timing.

Thanks in advance,

Janaki,

Rahu doesn't in any way connect to my 3rd house. Maybe Rahu connected with my Moon can mean that. By the way, why is 3rd house related to mind? I remember reading about it, too, but the logic of it I have wondered about.

Janaki,

I have not read the link but I know one combination i.e. If Lagna Lord in dual sign and 8th Lord in movable sign, then this gives alpayu age. This fits his case as his mercury in 9th house in a movable sign. But this dictum has also failed in some of the cases. I got this combination from one longevity article in saptarishi online website.

But still, Saturn in 8th house should have given him a good longevity, which did not.

Here are the details

5-dec-1979
Kumbh Lagna (time around 12:40pm) don't remember the exact time now.

Dear Janaki ma'am,

Thank you for your analysis.

Saturn's Antardashas have always been favourable. My educational qualifications are Master of Oil & Gas Engineering and Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. It has been 3.5 years since I completed my post graduate degree programme; however, I'm unemployed. I believe it is due to ongoing Surya Mahadasha that I am unable to get a job, and all my applications get rejected.

Uniqev,

Your Lagna lord is placed in 6th house of obstacles which will make life struggleful. 7th lord Saturn is placed in 12th house and in retrograde. Hence delay in marriage. But Saturn is placed in own NK.

You are running Jupiter MD Since 2011 who is placed in 8th house. How has it been so far?

I feel this Jupiter- Saturn (05-2013 to 12-2015) is capable of giving you marriage. I feel your partner will have martian characteristics but will also be understanding/mature and responsible.
Regards

Yellow,

I meant if Rahu was transiting your 3rd house.

3rd house is a house of courage and courage is mostly related to mind. Hence malefics do well in 3rd house. Its a house of writing and thoughts are originated from mind. 3rd house is for hobbies and 5th becomes 3rd to 3rd hence seen for undergraduate studies. So there is a connection to mind and transits over third house also affect mind. Last month there was a cluster of planets in Aries. Hence especially for Aquarius Asc, I came across people who made choices of leaving jobs etc.

Janaki,

Thanks for explaining how the 3rd house is connected to the mind. Now, when I became a fan of the actress, Rahu was transiting my 4th house from the ascendant and 7th house from the Moon. Sometime after that it went to my 3rd house from the ascendant, as you have rightly said. There was a double transit happening on my 5th house, too, for sometime, so you see the 5th house connection again comes up.

As far as my knowledge goes, 4th house is for school education, 5th house is for college education and 9th house is for higher education.

Yes, I know there was a cluster of planets in Aries, my 7th house, last month, and I have seen the effect of it in my life, not sure about other Libra ascendant people. They can give their feedback on it here if they feel so.

Hello Uniquev,

The current Jupiter transit until next May is favorable for you. Jupiter's transit is 2nd from moon and in 11th house hence very positive. Your 5th house is activated hence I feel you might meet/fall in love with someone.

Though 7th lord is placed in 12th, Venus is well placed in own NK. Hence I feel married life should be fine.

I am not qualified to answer other questions.

Yellow,

From what I know, 4th house is for basic education and 5th house is for education of our choice hence it is considered for undergraduate degree. Yes 9th is for higher studies as you have rightly said.

Janaki,

Which house indicates education for graduation degree as per you? By the way, what I told you is what I read in the astrology article of Vaughn Paul, the link of which I am attaching herewith: http://www.lightonvedicastrology.com/da ... 111905.htm

I am quoting the portion from the article attached above, which is relevant to this discussion:

"The 5th house governs non-compulsory education or college-level education. When there is the element of choice involved then it's the 5th house. Compulsory education or Kindergarten-12th grade education is the 4th house. This represents our educational foundation. The other houses of education: the 2nd, 3rd and 9th represent informal education at home, hobbies and trade schools, and higher education respectively."

Yellow,

I meant 5th house for basic degree, BE/MBBS/B.COM/B.ED. etc and 9th for postgraduate.

Janaki,

I am not from America, so I got confused by what you meant, but it is fine. Thanks for clearing it up. The funny thing though is Vaughn Paul, though he is an American and staying in America, didn't write in the American context when explaining the 5th house of education in astrology.

Janaki,

It was not clear because you said undergraduate degree, and undergraduate degree in India doesn't mean in anyway college education. But it is fine as it is clear now what you meant.
