Thanks Anuradhaji,
Yes I checked, Her Ketu dasha starts in beginning of May.
Anuradhaji,
Marriage involves lot of things. Meeting a person, getting to know him/her, deciding on marriage and then formalization. This has all happened with her in Mercury dasha.
If we have to predict second marriage for someone, should it be wholly based on 9th house and planets involved?

Yellow,
If possible post a chart where you have seen 7th lord/house periods also connected to 2nd marriage.
I feel, planets in navmansha lagna, 7th house can also bring serious relationship in addition to 7th and 5th in rasi.
5th house is also seen for ability to manage casual affairs. As we see 5th and 7th connection for love marriage, I feel even 5th house should be seen for serious relation as it can get converted to marriage.
Maybe the problem could be related to place of birth. J-Hora has Tentarive, Madagascar as default place of birth.
Yes the difference between the two charts could be due to the dasha as in both charts. 7th lord is in 12th with Mars aspect. As you have said debilitated Rahu in navmansha in 7th could be the reason.
She got married and divorced in Moon-Rahu, aorund June-July 2008, not very sure. It lasted only for 6 months.

Sorry I must have made a mistake, the one born on the 19th is widowed and childless, the one born on the 29th with the weaker D9 chart is married, rich and with three children.janaki wrote:Hello Anxious,
Please see following details you had provided. Thats why I thought you meant 2nd lady who is widowed. I felt the first one has stronger Navmansha by looking at both charts. Its surprising to know how things have turned out.
Janaki,
I don’t have those charts with me, which gave second marriage in 7th house connected periods. I don’t even remember, whose charts they were, but I remember this that I had been quite amazed about it.
Yes, planets connected to d-9 ascendant and 7th house can give serious relationships, and they can turn into marriages. About 5th house connected periods, yes, I agree that one may fall in love in that period, but I don’t know why, I always have this feeling that 5th house connected periods won’t make one fall in love and for that to happen, one has to run a 7th house connected period.
I used the latitude and longitude that has been given for the birth details, but I got Saturn-Mars in 6-12 axis when you have mentioned in your chart analysis that it is in the 4-10 axis, which is why I came to the conclusion that I have cast a wrong chart.
In the chart the birth details of which I have posted, the marriage house is more negative as 7th lord Saturn is in the 12th house with 12th lord Moon, which is not so in case of the chart the birth details of which you have posted. In the first chart sub-period is not at all good, but marriage is going fine, so it seems that the MD has a bigger role to play sometimes. It is strange that the marriage for the person having the second chart lasted for 6 months, while for the person having the first chart, marriage happened 5 years back and is going quite well till date.

Yellow,
Maybe you feel so about 5th house as its for casual affairs. With so many planets/houses connected to falling in love and again the transits related to this events are to be taken in consideration, there would be multiple occasions for someone to fall in love.
It also depends on nature of a person, someone who takes this concept seriously would limit such events as opposed to someone who takes in casually/lightly.
I think you have not taken GMT into consideration for these charts. Instead of putting latitudes, you can enter place of birth as Tananarive, Madagascar directly.
I was checking the chart details you had given, It also has Rahu in debilitation with Sun in D-9. So is it just MD which is making a difference? Yes, it is baffling to know that he is running a good period. Maybe Venus MD, is protecting him overall.
Venus is in Satabhishak whereas in her case it is in PBhadra. Before marriage, she had a 8 year long relation which did not materialize.
I am thinking if this is due to placement of Venus in PBhadra. She is doing excellently career wise and a very strong person.

Janaki,
It’s possible I don’t think much of 5th house when it comes to love because it signifies casual affairs. My 5th lord of romance being Saturn, the planet of seriousness, may mean that.
Coming to many houses connected to love, well, that’s true, but then, whether a person will ever fall in love will depend to a big extent to whether falling in love is destined for him or not and also whether they would want to fall in love as you have rightly said.
Coming to the chart Anxious has posted, I wonder how the person’s health is: as she has Ketu in her ascendant, aspected by Saturn and Mars. Her 7th house is interesting. She has Venus-Jupiter-Sun-Rahu there. I think she got married a second time because of Venus and Jupiter (benefics) there, and first one broke because of Sun and Rahu (malefics) there.
Coming to the chart details I have given, it makes me wonder when it comes to the d-9 chart, how much importance we can give to it. Not only is Rahu-Sun in the 7th house there, but Venus is in the 8th house, whose major period he is running now. The MD of Venus in the 8th house in d-9 chart shouldn’t give him a happy married life, though it is true that he had 2 serious relationships and one casual one for a short time before he got married, which was a love marriage—the breaking of those relations may give some indication of the bad placement of Venus in the d-9 chart, or the ill placed 7th lord in the d-1 chart. The funny part is that though the relations broke that didn’t affect him much. He is a very detached person in a way. I sometimes feel that though he gets into relations, he is not someone who understands love or has ever been in love. I know it sounds strange but as I know the person very well that is why I am saying it. He has Moon-Saturn together in the chart, which could be the reason for his detached attitude.
Yes, in case of the chart that I have posted, Venus is in Rahu’s nakshatra, which is good because Venus and Rahu are friends. For the chart, the details of which you have provided, Venus is in Jupiter’s nakshatra, which is bad because Jupiter and Venus are enemies and also because Jupiter is the 8th lord, which shows breaking of relation.
Her doing well career-wise makes sense as her 10th lord is well placed. It being her 12th lord’s period, she should travel during it.
Another factor you should see: she has her ascendant lord in the 6th house, while in the case of the chart details I have given ascendant lord is in the 5th house. The badly placed ascendant lord is one reason why she is unhappy in her life in one respect, which is not so in the other person’s case.

Hi everyone...it has been long time and I have a query what if 7th lord is in touch with 8th lord in 9th house with venus being exalted in 7th ..Do u think this is bad..March 30 1989...hyd 6:40 pm
When you feel like giving up, remember why you held on for so long in the first place
Idon'tknow,
Mars as 8th lord with the 7th lord is bad, but it's not the only affliction: Venus is badly combust in the 7th house and there is a debiliated Mercury in the 7th house, too, which won't help in respect to married life.

It's very difficult to say which one of the two will happen. It's nice to see that you know who I am.

Dear yellow
Of course I know u ... long time(coming to LOVA on and off for almost 2 yrs)....So how is your health?
The thing to notice here is in my D9 my jupiter lord of 7th and 10th is in his own house but unfortunately mars is hitting on my 7th house from lagna..I think it would be most likely spoiled relation because of my short temper or may be the spouse my guess what do you think basabji

IDK,
Nice to know that you have been on this forum since long. It's always nice to get to talk to old members of the forum. How are you? Coming to my health, it's so-so.
Yes, Jupiter as 7th lord is very well placed in your d-9 chart, but Mars' aspect is the spoiler. Mars is the significator of arguments, aggression, domination, anger, etc, so one of these points will turn out to be the reason for problems in married life, as I see it.

Read the following article: http://www.lightonvedicastrology.com/da ... 101210.htm. In it the astrologer predicted second marriage for a lady on the basis of her 7th house period, and the prediction turned out correct. While making the prediction of second marriage, he didn't consider the 9th house or 2nd house for it. This is exactly what I have been saying: 7th house periods can give second marriage.

Anuradha ji,
The connection with 9th house, that you are talking about, is very roundabout. But the main point I was making was this that the astrologer didn't look for a 9th house connection when he was predicting 2nd marriage. He made the prediction on the basis of the 7th house connection. And if I am not wrong, he is an astrologer from K.N. Rao's astrology school.

Don't say like that, Anuradha ji. I know that 9th house is used for 2nd marriage. I have read that article earlier, the link of which you have posted here. My point was simply this that the 7th house connected periods give 2nd marriage. Janaki wanted me to show a chart to prove my point, so I posted one article, where 7th house has been used for 2nd marriage. So it is not about me needing to be convinced as I didn't make the prediction that was made for the person in the article. It is astrologer, V.P. Goel, who has used 7th house for making prediction for 2nd marriage.

Dear all,
This has been one topic I have been looking-for for a very long time as I too have Venus in my 7th house, but no positive effects. I am interested in this from my marriage perspective as my age has gone past the normal prime age for marriage and still unmarried. Thanks to all members who have actively participated in this discussion so far and hope I would get to know what is causing/has caused the delay so far.
My birth details: MALE, 7th Dec 1979, 7:07 PM, Trichy, Tamil Nadu
Birth Star - Pushyami.
My Asc is Gemini and Venus is placed in Sagittarius in its own star - Poorvashada. Jupiter is in the 3rd (Leo) along with Mars and Rahu. Jupiter and Mars are in the star of Venus (Poorvapalguni). Other placements in D1 are - Moon in 2nd, Saturn in 4th, Mercury and Sun in 6th, Ketu in 9th (my current dasa period).
In my Navamsa, Venus is debilitated, Jupiter and Mars are in Vargottam with Sagittarius being my ascendant.
As far as my personal attributes are concerned, I completely avoid any kind of luxuries (quite an austure), have not been involved in any kind of relationships ever, not extremely interested in arts. I generally move well with people around me.
I can probably say that my experience so far in life has defied (to a large extent) the usual theories w.r.t to placement of Venus in 7th house.
Is Karako Bhava Nashaye playing its role here or other planets causing these effects. Or is Venus by itself so badly placed (6th from Moon in D1) and conjoins Moon in Navamsa while being debilitated has caused the delay/denial of marriage?
Thanks
Ramkumar

Hello Ramkumarji,
Your venus is debilitated in D-9 and 7th lord Jupiter is with Rahu and in NK of Venus. Did 2011 bring any prospects related to marriage?
I feel starting from June you have good prospects related to marriage. Your Rahu AD starts in May 2013. Saturn is aspecting your 7th house. From May, Jupiter will be in lagna aspecting 7th house.
Saturn's aspect on your ascendant has made you austere. That and 5th lord Venus is again debilitated could be the reason that you were not involved in a relation.
