The books says about 6/8th axis and is silent on 2/12th axis.

I think 2/12th axis is better then 6/8th axis as the in the latter, both the houses are dusthana houses.

Have to say I enjoy the generic questions and discussions in this thread unlike the usual chart reading.
I have a question on my own.

How to determine the character of a person from a chart? Good/Bad/Trust-able/Cheat ..

I know one combination. Let me quote from the book that I have-

"Karaka planets for crime are Rahu, Saturn, Mars and Ketu. Moon and mercury should not be influenced by them. Tendencies are intensified by Rahu/ Saturn, Rahu/Moon and Rahu/ Mercury. Saturn, Rahu, Mars in 10 produces criminals, anti social, pick pockets, rapists, muderers and dacoits".

Not sure what the author meant by the last sentence. Did he mean conjunction of these 3 planets together in 10th house?

In the same way, can we say only malefics in the kendras can also result in similar characteristics?

I found this quote from Sarvartha Chintamani.

The 4th house is occupied by a benefic planet, or planet in own sign, friendly or sign of exaltation, or 4th house being a benefic sign. The person is pure hearted and stays away from secrecy and hypocrisy.

The book has not said anything about the combination in a man's chart. So can't comment. But if logically seen, then it can be true. Like a man getting involved in false dowry harassment case and crying as a result.

Venus is also the karaka for wife in man's chart. But sometimes, as per particular time of birth, moon is considered as the wife and venus as mother.

In girl's chart, some astrologers take guru as significator's of husband and some take Mars.

since 2009 ,everything in my life was going gud... i completed my mba had a good corporate job.. very good parents... very loving and supporting mother..she has a huge impact on my life..i idealize her. .. bt equation with my relatives is not so congineal.. i mean there is lot of jealousy and competition... but my family life is gud..love my parents a lot. no problem financially ..bt emotionally im lost, have low self esteem

Everything is destined and even to whom we consult is already destined. Even getting wrong advise is also destined. Getting correct advise is also destined. Even those who get angry are acts of God and those who cry are acts of God. All God's play.

Hi cant stop myself from commenting on this. God is neutral. He looks upon whole world, everything in it equally. He neither loves anyone, nor hate. He/ she do not like me more than as compared to anyone else....

he is omnipotent, omnipresent and all...... his/ her single stroke can put all the mechanisms in world in order... that means no crime, no disasters, no pain, no hardships, no corruption, no bad words etc...

But if if we give a thought, imo, that world will be like a machine, or robots. everything predictable...set ways in which to response or expect any response. truthful, no verbal duels, no schemes, no backstabbing, no feeling of hatred......

So in view of above quote we can conclude, apart from so many things, that God introduced element of free will. perhaps its an experiment a la matrix triolagy on God's part. Bcos if god is controlling everything, then why all this elaborate works. universe, solar system, planets, people ,plants, animals etc!!! Surely no one will go to this extent, just still to go one step further and control even thoughts!!! Whats the purpose??

God or some intelligent being created this lab (Universe or earth) and created beings (plants, animals, people) and then provided certain amount of leeway (free will). Just to see whats going to happen.

There is no karma, or re birth or all that. Certain re-births/past life memory can be attributed to systemic error, as everything is re-cycled...but it has nothing to do wid karma.....

There is karma present, no doubt about it. I have seen people who are close to me , have faced the wrath of karma.

One person got brain operation thrice and he is bed ridden, another friend got his spine injured , lost the job offer that he got. He too is physically disabled.

One positive example of Karma, One college friend of mine met with an accident , the Lorry rear Tyre literally went upon his stomach. He survived after being in hospital for 1.5 years and later he lead a normal life , without any problems , thanks to the mercy of Almighty and Positive Karma . It is really a miracle that he survived as doctors lost hope on him.

They are all good people , then why these misfortunes for them .

In btwn , i myself got 4 surgeries done in my life. Not major operations like my friends' but still surgery is a surgery .

By Gods Grace I am okay and able to carry the activities in day to day life.

Karma is definitely there and it governs the people"s fortunes and misfortunes.

It is easy to believe karma theory bcos it is logical and rational to majority. please see misfortune happens to all, good n bad people. when it happens to good ones we conclude may be bcos of past birth bad karma. Why?

Karma is supposed to be like a bank account across several births. So u need to pay or withdraw as per available balance. laughable thing is it is like, you do bad karma in one birth and pay for it after several births. not necessarily always in same birth. top it with, you take birth with absolutely no knowledge of previous one. so you come to know about this karma thing, if u r lucky or depending upon which part of world or in which religion u took birth quite late in this life....

i wonder what is the total balance in that account. if it is trade able. seriously if one person can take on bad karma of all and get rid of all the rotten things in world, i am ready to volunteer for it. at least coming generations can get a life!

it really pains to see, so much s$%^t going around and especially helpless children , people suffering... i am talking from that point of view, not personal.

how i am telling like this? I not telling - Krsna is telling - where he told? i will show. look down -

in chapter 7 verse 26 of Gita he told - I know everything that has happened in the past, all that is happening in the present, and all things that are yet to come.

so what he is telling? if krsna is knowing what is went what is there and what is coming that means from where he standing - everything is predestined only. so deeps and yellow are full correct.

same krsna told in Gita - chapter 5 verse 15 - the omni present conciousness does not accept the sins nor the virtues of anyone.

same chapter he told - one who acts by dedicating all activites to the ultimate truth giving up attachment will not be affected by sin - just as a lotus leaf in the water.

what Krsna is telling? - clear he told - he is not accepting the sins or virtues of anyone - what we do - we only have to eat. and one who is acting if he is acting without attachment to his action - then he is sinless. so why we are blaming krsna?
