My Jupiter Mahadasha started on 17.08.2011. In my chart- Jupiter is 6th & 9th lord posited in Ninth house of Pieces. As per astrology 9th house show luck, wealth, sprituality.
My Query is What Jupiter Mahadasha is very fruitfull or luckiest phase of my life? What Jupiter dasha is good for Health wise & Can I earn great wealth in this Mahadasha ?

Jupiter(5L)- moon(9L) dasha was the turning point of my life. More than bringing about any fortune, it brought about a complete change in my personality for good- from being a very shy person, I became more expressive, socialising and confident person.

One interesting thing I want to tell you is that I was born in Venus - Sat dasha. Venus being placed in 5th house and Sat in 9th house. My mum says that my birth brought fortune and luxury for our family. Also I believe that I have been very fortunate in life whether its love, education, friends, money... and most importantly, the satisfaction of being happy with what I had, even if little, that has made the experience more fulfulling for me.

I see that your Venus is in Libra but it is Vakri.....Venus is also in Gopuramasa....and what is more venus is a yogakaraka for you......Yet you maintain you whole dasa was bad and even you venus and mercury bhuktis were challenging....so see we are not sure how vakri will operate....you are the best judge for yourself....many people in many forums emphasize that an exalted planet but vakri give debilitated effect.....I feel all should study your chart and give their feedback....I see no blemish on your venus except the third house aspect of Saturn...But in your case even that is not a blemish because saturn is your lagnadipati so will only do good for you....please give me your feedback on your Sun and Mars subdasas....I feel they may be good for you....now you are running sun dasa since 2006....how had been this phase....No doubt your guru is exalted but is with moon in the sixth house so sixth house is very very strong.....and you know what is sixth house....so that explains your enemies and obstacles and struggles.....I would like to see others views about your venus....we can get better clarity on vakri planets.

I have a feeling that Venus being badhakesha in your chart did not give you the desired results.There are people who feel badhakesha is an exaggerated concept but yours could be one of the few cases where badhakesha plays spoil sport. Badhakesha being retro is complicating matters further.

After I posted I noticed that Mo your chara AK is in gandanta, this is not a good thing to have. This indicates that the soul has to undergo some suffering in this life.

great astrologer kn rao once said that the mahadasa of sixth lord would be full of bad health and difficulties. during my jupiter phase , i had a bad life in terms of marriage .jupiter was the lord of ninth house and twelfth house. but soon saturn dasa started and everything changed and life became good again. after five years my mercury dasa is going to begin. mercury is the lord of sixth house and is exalted in sixth house. i fear for my health. it is also involved in VRY. i presume that this dasa wil be not troublesome. mercury is aspected by jupiter from twelfth house which is the ruler of ninth house. will this aspect from ninth lord improve the scenario.my birth details are 18 sep 1975,7:35pm,(85E13,25N37).would you give a look to my chart.

Most planets do well in the 9th house of fortune since 9th is a trinal house..Rahu though is not good in the 9th as it is rahu's maran karak sthana

Hi Sunds, Bali and Shilpaji,

Many thanks for looking at my chart. Venus MD overall was very difficult personally at home. The good thing was at school I was able to get good scores in my tests and used to be first few toppers in schools. Other then that life was very challenging.

2006 has been the best years of my life. I made new friends, got promotion at work and life was great until mid or Quarter 1 of 2007.

Mars AD's are not that easy for me. I get a lot of struggles at work during Mars and also Rahu AD.

Mercury and Saturn Ad in 2009 and 2010 were very difficult. Overall despite the good placements of planets I feel my life challenges me in each and every aspect. For e.g. I graduated in 2002 when the U.S. economy doomed and I didn't get a gob until 2004 Jan. I lost all my savings that I had got when I worked part time during school by Jan 2004. I gave atleast 20 interviews until I was landed a job in 2004.

Same thing on the marriage end. Nothing has been working out. I liked someone in 2005 but it didn't work out....After that it has been a struggle finding somone...

Now I left my job in Oct 2010 due to the exhaustion from the Mercury AD. I was working like 70+ hours a week, and I gave two interviews each month from Jan through Aug and got rejected every SINGLE time. I guess it's due to 2/12 placements of sun/venus as pointed out by Shilpaji earlier. Again now my savings are going due to no income.

Overall this venus AD has provided me some relief due to the late hours I have worked over the past several years but now finding a job has been a real struggle. Even my former colleagues who are not that qualified or equally qualified everyone have changed jobs and got good placements. Personally also I have found this period to be challenging. People around me have been less helpful. I'm trying to stay calm during this time.

Sun MD overall was also strugggles and challenges except 2006 year. Worklaod was very hectic and lot of responsiblities at home.

I think year 2001 was a little good overall. Other then that I don't remember of good years honestly.

--in navmsa Jup aspects the 7th house and Ve is 7th lord in friendly saturn's house.

in summary the married life will be stressed but manageable because of the mitigating positive listed above.

Whoever said the extreme negatives that you queried in PM...was probably doing a one eyed view of your chart.

I read your article on the luckiest dashes of life .its indeed a very knowledgeable article,but when i apply the principle to my chart,the answer seems to be more confusing. I request you to pz clearify my doubt.

I am a sagitarius ascendent,currently running sat-mercury-mercury.
Saturn+mercury+sun is in 9th house in Leo .saturn is currently exalted in libra ,transiting my 11th house
So I believe this is supposed to be the best period of my accounting career. But in actual,I am currently unemployed for last one and half year and now I have no courage left to face any more interviews.
Saturn has 3rd aspect to 11th house,which has venus and mars in libra.This again seems to be a good planetary combination for income prospects but in reality my income is zero.
My ascendent lord Jupiter is exalted in8th house.

To sum up all,my astrological life is way different from my practical life.I am sorry but I have no reasons to consider the dasha of 9th house fruitful for me.

--so per the premise of the article the luckiest period should be Su-Ma or Ma-su period.

--you have not run those periods yet and given that sun MD starts in 2072 and Mars in 2088......there is less chance of experiencing the 9-5 or 5-9 periods.

--you finsihed just a shani-shani period in end of Dec.
shani is innimical in the house of leo...at the start of combustible degrees...hence malefic.
further shani and moon( 8th lord) are in association throuhg mutual aspect..forming a yoga that gives mental anxiety.

-transitory shani was retro for a few months oin 2012 Jun/ Jul I believe and went back over your natal Rahu and Gulika in Virgo making it a tough time then.

--the shani Me period should be better but bear in mind Me is lord of 6th so it will not be a smooth sail.

--you should propitate shanidev throuhgout the shani MD.

i had gone thru the MD of my 5L (sun placed in 8H) it actually started at the start of my career n throughtout the MD i progressed well in my career/income...my current MD is moon (4L in 9H) also good till now although progress stagnant since last 2 years....my next MD will be of asc lord Mars which is placed in 5H followed by Rahu which is also in 5H n then followed by jupiter (9L) also in 5H...

wats ur take on my current dasha n my future dasha's?
