As far as I know Manglik Dosh is said to exist if mars is in 1,2,4,7,12,8, but what I have observed in such people is passion....so as far as I know 50% of the population generally has this Mars in these houses, then how can it be generalized,I have mars in saggitarius but have never felt mars dosha in anyways though I have it in 4 th house and Mars in 7th house from Moon,I always have had a cordial relationship with my mother too though Mars is in 4th house then why is it said that Mars in these positions is so bad ,Am i missing something here?

Vikram,
In my experience the mangal dosha is applicable in the cases when Ma is either a functional malefic, is closely afflicting the house of conjunction, or is afflicted by another malefic. When Ma is a benefic or is not afflicting it does not cause a mangal dosha. A slight affliction will only cause a slight dosha. Although Ma does give one an aggressive/energetic nature when strong and if not influenced beneficially it can sometimes be the cause of conflicts. Hence the concern.

However big and beautiful a building may be, it is only the vacant space within, that is mainly useful to those who occupy it.

You are absolutely correct. Also the best method to manage, strengthen and direct Ma's energy is by prayers and meditation.
