This is too much that yellow if losing interest in spirituality. So Saindhavi ji also said that she has stopped doing remedies if i remember correctly. I think i need to accept the thing about Mayan Calender. Maybe they meant that after 21st december 2012, people will stop believing in spirituality and engage in killing in each other. Akanksha relax. I have leo lagna too and scorpio moon sign, so i hav started my sade sati also. i just finished the saturn transit from my lagna leo.for me transits from lagna effects more,as far as i can remember 30 yrs back i went thru it and saturn transit from lagna was kind of bad but not from moon sign, except a few incidents here and there.
from moon sign saturn will pressure ur mind more so do remedies for moon too so u dont keep panicking.
saturn till now seems to be ok for me its definitely not a joyride but i have steady routine of doing my daily prayers so that helps. as far as lagna is concerned Leo lagna should definitely be getting relief now.
Saindhaviji on starteller they hav put in the results of 2013 for different nakshatras, pushya uttarbhadra seem to be headed for good year, anuradha is ok i think. so after quite sometime i seeing some positivity, keeping my fingers crossed.

I can understand the reason for your worry. I don't agree with Saindhavi ji. Rahu debiliated in the ascendant, Scorpio, with Saturn aspecting from Virgo, 11th house, can mean health issues definitely, but Saturn exalted in the 12th house and Rahu in a friendly sign in the 12th house doesn't mean health issues. So definitely transit of Rahu to Libra and Saturn being there is much better than Rahu in Scorpio, with Saturn aspecting it from Virgo. Jupiter is also aspecting Scorpio, which is also good for the ascendant.

Rahu in Lagna, no matter in what sign, will not be as harmful for the native. Akanksha didn't say Saturn aspects Lagna from 11th. If that is so, then Saturn is malefic here, Rahu much less.

Rahu tends to give good results in Lagna, 6th and 10th houses regardless of sign and Nakshatra placements.

It's just that if he is in an adverse sign in Lagna and 10th, he also takes the native in wrong direction - the effects of which are felt much later. Rahu periods of such natives are usually materialistically very good, but at some stage they make a strategic error for which they suffer later - but by then it's too late to rectify the error. Yes, you are right; it can be the effect of sandhi. As the point of sandhi has come up, I think I would like to share my confusion here. I have seen the mention of Rahu being in sandhi in transit, now, several times here in this thread, and it’s considered so on the basis of Rahu being in the first degree of Scorpio. But sandhi as per the definition I know is when a planet is in the first degree of a sign and the last degree of a sign, so even after Rahu enters Libra it will be in sandhi, which no one is considering I understand from the posts here. I wonder why that is so.

I hope I would not lose my interest in spirituality totally as I want to read more on it. About marriage I discussed it with my mother. I told her I will get married after 2 years, so I am not thinking of marrying now. Rahu in the ascendant I agree can make one choose the wrong life partner and make him take hasty decisions, which may prove to be bad in the long run, so I will definitely be careful about that.

I don’t know if I will agree with your 'state, kaal, patra' concept, though I will agree that I liked the wit in it. It’s your strong Mercury, which makes you so witty. Coming to why I will not agree with that concept of yours that being born a Bengali I can’t be rich, it’s because in Calcutta and all over the world there are millions and millions of Bengalis, and a huge percentage of them are doing well in their careers. My brother is a big success in his workplace, my cousin brother and cousin sister are super-rich and so are many relatives of mine, irrespective of them all being Bengalis, so the theory you have stated is not correct. You can’t give the excuse of my chart not working for me because I am a Bengali. There must be something wrong there (in the chart itself), which is not giving me success.

Yes I am proud to be a Bengali because the Bengalis have achieved a lot whether it's cinema, where Satyajit Ray got the Oscar for his lifetime work as a director; literature, in which Rabindranath Tagore got the Nobel Prize; Economics, in which Amartya Sen got the Nobel Prize; religion: Swami Vivekananda took Hinduism to USA and made the famous speech in Chicago; or cricket, where Sourav Ganguly brought a lot of glory for our country as the most successful captain so far. There are many more great people, who have been born as Bengalis, so I definitely am proud being a Bengali myself.

Coming to my being lazy, yes, I am that, definitely, but that's because my Mars is in the house of flowers in my chart and not because I am a Bengali.

You are right, I don't want to move out, and I don't think my birth chart indicates that, either, as my ascendant lord is placed in a fixed sign, and there is no connection of 9th/12th house with 4th house/ascendant in my chart, which gives foreign travel/staying away from home. But interestingly my 10th house of career shows a strong foreign connection with Rahu placed there with my 10th lord, Moon, and 10th lord again being in the nakshatra of 12th lord of foreign countries. It can mean I will do some work, which will have a foreign connection to it, even if I don't travel abroad.

It's interesting your talking about my moving out possibly helping in my career. I don't know if you said it after seeing my birth chart or because you felt it logically, but as per 2 astrologers whom I had consulted in my city long back, I will not find success unless I move out of my birth place because Rahu is in the 10th house of my career with my 10th lord, Moon. My 10th lord Moon is again in the nakshatra of Mercury, which is the 12th lord in my chart, which again shows my work will have a foreign connection.
