Just realised that I am at the begining of the 18year Rahu Mahadasha. Even before that my life has seen many ups and downs. Request you to pls let me know how my Rahu MD will be like and what remedies, if any will be of help.

Hi Explorings Ji,

Thanks. My problems have been mainly related to Career, Finance and House related.

From July 2000 to July 2006 was on deputation to an African country heading the Information Technology Department of one of the largest insurance companies in the Eastern Africa. This was one of the best periods of my life.

From then onwards nothing seems to be working ok. In 2006 was to join another large company in the East Africa but the company management changed, had work permit problems and it did not materialise. Was back in India working for a large PSU in a senior position and doing quite well. But in Dec 2007 resigned and got into an IT company based in the US and was to move to the US. But the economic meltdown created visa problems and had to continue working in India. Changed job in 2009, no job satisfaction. Made huge losses in the stock market during the same period. Booked a flat in Mumbai in 2007, yet to get the possesion. Staying in rented apartment since 2007.

Not sure how things will be in the Rahu MD.

Your Rahu is well controlled by Saturn (5L in own house conjunct with Ketu).

Ra/Ke are on 11/5 axis. Ra here is amplifying Mars, Moon, and Saturn effects.

I don't see any particular problems for your career, except that 10L, Mercury is afflicted been combust and placed in inimical house. 10H and 2H receives benefic aspect of Ju. Financial gains and self-earned property will be delayed due to affliction to Mars, karaka for property and Ju placed in 6H (3H from 4H, will give you property ownership after some suspicious communications/conflicts; problems in childhood home are also foreseen). 11L in 8H, access to other people's money and may also get inheritance through mother.

Ra MD will give you tremendous access to people that will help you progress in life. I do not see any major hiccups in your Ra MD. You will get possession of your own house preferably in end of 2013 but definitely before the end of Ra-Ju. May 2013 Ju enters Gemini and will aspect and bless 4H. 4H will also see a positive growth due to double transit effect of Ju-Sa.

D-4 chart, karaka for immovable property, Mars is placed in own house (though 8H) and conjunct with Moon. 4L, Ju is placed in benefic 9H in conjunct with Sun. Native will be able to enjoy his own earnings.

Please wear emerald (2.5 carat) ring set in gold or silver in little finger of main hand and diamond (2 carat) set in silver in middle finger of main hand.

Prayers to Surya Narayana, Lakshmi-Narayana and Datta Guru will be helpful.

Hi All,

Rahu Mahadasha has been good for me so far.
I started Rahu MD during last year of my engineering in 2007.

As soon as it started I won 2 contests at national and state level. Those were software development contests for engineering student.

Progress in carrier has been good and exponential.
Though at personal level I have faced some hiccups in recent one year but everything has been progressive and a good learning experience.
