Hi
Today i saw a program on TV where they were discussing the Avastha of Graha like Bal, Kumar, Vruddha, Mrita etc. But this topic is not much discussed on this forum.
To what extent does this factor affect the karakatwa? for eg if a graha is vargottam but in bal or mrita avastha, what are the significations?
GRAHA AVASTHA

Amit,
There are 5 avasthas for planets. Bal, Kumar, Yuva, Vruddha and Mruta.
Divide a rasi in 5 parts, each avastha will be given 6 deg.
when the rasi is odd, then 1-6 - bal , 7-12 - Kumar, 13-18 - Yuva, 19-24- Vridhha, 25-30 - Mrita
when the rasi is even, the order becomes reverse.
I think when you have two planets in the same bhava, e.g. one mruta and one yuva, I think yuva will ahve more effects than mruta.
I would like to get different viewpoints on this topic as well.
