I want to make a career in novel writing abroad (in USA). I love writing and have received positive feedback from most of the people I show my writing to. Do you think it's a right career choice for me?
What else could be a good career choice for me if not this?

You will definitely go abroad. Till the end of April 2013, you have chance to go abroad.

Rahu in the 4th and 4th lord in the 12th house is certainly indicating going abroad.
An exchange of 2nd and 12th, mercury (writing)+ Mars(ink) in the 2nd house and a connection with the 5th house. 5th house lord saturn in its own house with 11th lord moon.
Jupiter pretty much deals with Authorship is with Venus and both vargothama, 10th lord Mercury again in the second can show making money by writing.
I feel you have a good chance of having a career in writing/Journalism etc...
