dear Naga,

Respected Moderator Shilpa Madam has written lot on D60 so you are correctly asking her. I will give my limited opionion on this matter ok. You consider.

how many D60 is there you know? I will tell you see - 4

in one one option - different different graha can get debilitation. like that if it happens - then which graha to say is debilitated in D60? and which is correct D60 chart? I dont know.

in another forum i was before i come here - Respected creator of J hora has told in these words. - best to leave d60 alone. what happens no - birth time is not correct of anybody. little this side that side means where all lagna will fall. so called rectification also lot of problem is there. Like that K.N.Rao Saheb has told. from many months i am trying to put lagna for Donald Bradman. in every rasi i put lagna - I am getting good response. Then what to do?

then R.K.Dalmia you know? his also same same problem. two two lagnas are there. sometimes when reading book of astrology i get total confuse. 2 giants of astrology world explained his all by putting lagna in different different rasi.

A good astrologer needs ONLY Rashi chart & D9 plus janma nakshatra and in the mind the planetary position transit of the days when astrologer sees the chart. A good astrologer will know the slokas by heart and the yogas associated, if any, in the chart. D1 & D9 along with palmistry( as a part of confirmatory test) enough for the prediction and if need be a Prashna chart creation.

The other divisonal charts are available but the exact time of birth of native is essential to cast this divisional charts

Hi Naga,

The D60 changes every 30 seconds. It is nearly impossible to get that accurate a birth time, we are usually very happy if it is within the exact minute. So D60 is too unstable to be reliable. Better leave it alone.

Thanks everyone for the reply. Yes the ToB may not be accurate to the extent of seconds.

AFAIK, D60 changes approx every 2 minutes i.e. 120 seconds. Correct me if i am wrong. It may be possible to get exact TOB. But there is a question regarding the time that is to be considered - Is it the sight of the head or the the complete body or the the cry of the baby or the detachment of the navel cord that is to be considered as TOB.

D 60 time will vary from rasi to rasi and year to year. then what you know? 4 different D60 is there. which to use? problem is what you know? I will tell. all astrologer is fighting on road like mawali. what is time of birth? head is coming out or baby touching ground. nobody know. in between more than 3-4 minutes is timepass. what to do? when this is answered - we can see other point.

map,

There is a controversey about what is actually the birth time. These are the usual options:

1. When the baby is totally out of the mothers body and the natal cord is severed.
2. Time of taking the 1st breath.
3. Time of the first touching of ground (bhoomisparsha).
4. Time of the first cry.

Mostly option one is used, some also use option four. Options 2 and 3 are very rarely used. But it all depends on the astrologer.

A clarification :
Technically D60 changes every one minute. But considering the continuous motion of the planets and Lg, esp moon, the chart begins to change after 30-40 seconds. So absolute correct birth time must be within 30 seconds. If one can obtain such a correct chart one is welcome to use D60.

I have never seen charts accurate to the second, so I rarely use D60.

SK

PS - My mistake, D60 changes by roughly 2 mins, pl refer post below.

SK ji,

Could you please explain a little further about D60 changing in a minute? This is purely for my info.

You are not wrong. You are correct. I had mentioned in my earlier post ( which was shelved like Censor board by extremely learned person). In the delivery room or in O.T., spouse can witness the delivery of the child, spouse thus can record the exact time of birth of the child.

That's what I had commented in my earlier post, for a good astrologer.... D1 & D9 chart is enough to predict.

Now there are four options given for recording TOB...1. baby's natal cord is severed from mother, 2.first breath of the baby,3. time of touching the ground, 4.First cry

1st Option o.k.
2 & 4 th options interlinked ( suppose what happens if the baby not crying or breadth????, baby been put in the incubator & respirator????),
3 option, before the natal cord severed, baby is handled by Gynaecs/obsts or gynaec dept matron on the hands before placing the baby on a tray in the O.T. or on the O.T. couch.

Therefore, the father will know the exact & accurate time in this process to record the time of birth of the baby.

hi map,

Yes, you are correct. Sorry I had made a mistake. The Lg changes roughly every 2 hrs (actually a little less). And D60 is the 1/60th Varga chart. So 1/60th of 2 hrs (roughly) would make it, approximately 2 mins.

But the rest is correct. The D60 chart begins to change after 30-40 secs due to the continuous motion of Lg and moon, the fastest moving entities.

Thanks for pointing out the mistake.

It is interesting to see the brain storming. As you say It is compulsory to have exact birth time to erect a D60 chart and it is used to talk about evils within the person.
