What is the impact of saturn in 8th house at birth? I get several health problems and most of them remain undiagnosed and we get crazy with doing hospital rounds. Most times, I have diseases which do not have any medication and I have to suffer.

Generally Saturn in the 8th is considered good for longevity, because both the 8th house and Saturn represent longevity. However, any malefic in a dusthana house can still give challenges. Both the 8th house and Saturn also represent chronic and slow to cure illnesses. The whole chart and the dasha sequence + transits need to be analyzed to get specific. Vaughn Paul
There is no hard and fast rule for Saturn in the 8th always a bad planet.I feel after my 36 th year when Saturn in stated to be powerful,though I suffered a major accident with multiple fractures in my leg,my dull life has become eventful.
I fully agree with Paul that saturn in the 8th brings challenges,it tests the patience of the individual to the extremes.

I have checked explorer's wife's horoscope,there are no immediate indications for curtailement of longevity,though,yet,it would be wise not to ignore her health conditions as she seems destined to go earlier than her husband.
Sunsri,the chart quoted by you does not present any imminent danger to longevity,Jupiter as 12th lord in the 8th is not bad. Though I do not rule out the native being a gambler/doing things not allowed by society. Further,Saturn,though in inimical Rasi,is not expected to pose any great danger.
Explorer,sir,Jupiter retrograde from July31 has to help you as you have moon in capricorn.
Right now you have 8th saturn in transit from natal moon,things would improve from september 09when saturn leaves leo.
As it is Jupiter being 10 L in 8th,you may kindly read my earlier posts carefully,blessings from elders should help.
You would do well to wear gold,being religious would improve your luck.
If there is a running water in your vicinity,offer things like wheat,barley coconut in running water for 43 days.

I also have Saturn in 8th house - the most awful 8th - Scorpio. I have Aries Lagna and my Saturn in 8th Scorpion is with Mercury,they both aspect Moolatrikona Moon in 2th of Taurus. Saturn is ruler of 10/11 Houses and Jupiter is in 10thH of Capricorn - debilitated. As far as i know when Saturn is in 8th and 7th by Moon this is very bad for the spuse and his/her longlivety. Also Saturn in 8th has to do with big transformations and challenging the native to accept the Change and to free out the consciousness related to the sign it's place it Saturn.
