Counting of houses from lagna ?

How to Count the houses from lagna in a natal chart ? is it clock wise or counter clock wise .. plz some one clear me

Clockwise and ascendant is the first house. 8)

As far as i know, in North Indian charts it is always anti- clockwise..:)

in soutindian style it is clockwise n a bit of anticlockwise for north indian style

clockwise for south indian charts and anti-clockwise for north indian style.
