It's not a matter of what you think. Transit dates are set and you can't change them at will. We just had a big discussion on this issue.

For 1992-93 period, you have to see not only transit, but also Mahadasha combination running.

thats fine, it just struck me this evening abt saturn and rahu together can create havoc and i chked out what happened last time they were togethr. Exploringsji, its not the end of the world, but for the people who loose everything ,the roof over their heads due to polictical disturbances they do get shattered. Last time people had to be airlifted from Liberia some were effected psychologically. its not easy. this time we are going to be cautious.Just a few days ago my mom was commenting its like going thru the partition over and over again being uprooted all the time and transplanted elsewhere. u feel like a refugee till u get settled only to be uprooted again.but maybe saturn being exalted this time might not be so bad???

Hope your words come true, Saindhavi ji. But I agree with you on one point that both Saturn and Rahu will be in a friendly sign, Libra, and Saturn is exalted too, so even if problems come up, they will be much less than they would have been if this conjunction had happened in some unfriendly sign.

As I said, before Rahu becomes benefic, it will go through Sandhi from 4th of Dec to 11th of Jan (Geocentric) and Rahu in Sandhi is a greater trouble than Rahu out of Sandhi.

So, before it becomes benefic, it may cause havoc in Sandhi. That's why I gave those dates above to caution people. So, Rahu will be benefic only after 11th Jan. Before that, we have to go through the storm.

Honestly speaking, I am getting impatient now, hearing that I have to wait so much to get the real effects of Saturn-Rahu. First there is the locha of Sun entering Libra and afflicting Saturn, then the locha of Rahu getting into sandhi, and after that another locha of Saturn getting retrograde. That's good news! One thorn (Mars transit in Libra) has been removed by God. Three more (Sun transiting Libra, Rahu getting into sandhi and Saturn getting retrograde) are still there to bother us.

I faced a lot of criticism in the last one month in this forum, thanks to Mars in transit in my lagna, but, I didn't react to that, keeping myself calm, thanks to my Mercury sub-period of 9th lord in the 9th house (the house of divinity), which I have been running since sometime, making me forgive everyone, thinking of this famous saying: "To err is human, to forgive divine."
