Dear jolli,

IMO, his business will be as it is now. After his 30th year i think he may face some difficulties regarding properties, conveyance etc. There wont be any windfalls.
I will have a take on dehradun one if you wish.

Daridra yoga doesn't mean sitting on the corner of a street, begging for money, but it means serious financial problem, which all of us face sometime or other in our lives.

Dear Members,

I am not able to understand significance of LL being in 12th house. I have observed it in may instances, including mine.
One thing i am able to zero in on is that, it renders many fruitful yoga poor performing or not yeilding anything at all.
am i right ?

plus as a side thougt, is it possible god left the universe on auto pilot for a while and busy with other things? we cannot expect god to work 27 x 7 or is he. Surly he should have many things to do. This universe is a intelligent living being. We r part of it. it is part of us. hence we interact with each other continusly. It behaves under set rules. which never change. microcosom, macrocosm.
this means its a self sufficient system. this means no out side intervention. this leads to presence of all knowing, all powerful god meaning less.whats the fun if you cannot intervene at will. and whats the fun if god being all knowing and all power full develops a system which needs intervention time to time.

hence this means pre decided (destiny) and lack of free will. The free will which we belive is also creation of our own mind.

Well the presence of great Laxmi Yogas or wealth producing yogas, mitigates the presence of daridra yogas in one chart.

You understood my statement wrongly. I never said jupiter is responsible, jupiter is a natural benefic and inspite of his aspecting the lagna and rasi, he could not prevent other effects, like rahu sat in 2nd and so on was what I wrote.

Also regarding talking about the persons who harmed you, telling it to others, it is of no use.
Anyway with an exalted mars in my case, I might have been worse than you but I tried to change, since there is no point in telling that, it only weakens our mind. They will reap the benefits for what harm they have done. You don't have to worry.
I enjoyed your answers, u do social service and don't want to disclose, that is great. It is part of nishkamya karma, unlike those who donate tube light and get their names written with black ink on it and when the light is on, it becomes darker than how it was without that light.

When you have positive Lakshmi yoga forget about the daridra yoga.
It is like one of my professors used to say he was a professor and also his own peon. That does not make him peon. So when you have positive yoga, negative cannot coexist. When Lakshmi stays with you, how will she leave you?

IMO Lagna lord being in 12th is not always bad.
It may indicate one staying abroad most of the times, ie away from home.
Also, jup as a kendra lord is better off being in 12th than being in kendra and being subject to kendradipatya dosha. Also being in 6,8 is not good too.
Also venus in 12th is not a bad position for venus.
Also a benefic in 12th may also mean that the person is not of a bad character(of course other positions need to be seen too)

Thanks for suggesting Hanuman Chalisa. i do read it , actually its byheart now, so i recite it whenever i feel like, i was regular with it some yrs back but now i am irregular with it. i am trying to read vishnu shahastra , sunderkand, shiv stuti ...but need to get a hang on the pronounciation.

i agree with the macro and micro cosmos bit , but the universe is not a living being , its infact a culmination of energies which brings us back to macro and micro cosmos ..when the universal energy takes shape and becomes active,you get life as a 'seen or manifested effect' and when energy retires to 'its latent or unseen state' , your get death. but just becoz you cant see it ,that does not mean that the energy is not present , its UNSEEN/LATENT to us, but it is still present. very much like the switch and a bulb. when the switch is on you SEE light , and when the swtich is off you dont see it , but it is still present albeit in a latent state. this is what the enegries of the universe does to us as well. the law o life is law of karma which also revovles around this cycle of manifestation and latency.

OK, reading is good, when you know them by heart, you can always chant when you want to. You can always listen to the audio tapes for getting perfect Pronunciation. Almost all sloka chants are available if you really search for it.

A daridra person doesn't come online to discuss astrology because he doesn't have the money for food even, forget spending it on the internet. If you are a daridra, what will you call them, who live on one meal a day? You are mocking those people, by calling yourself poor. Never say like that ever. It will make God angry with you and snatch even what you have now making you understand what the word 'daridra' really means.
