He he he...Well, I live my life with the belief that I am the master of my own destiny. Generally speaking, You forget about destiny when you get busy in materialistic life. But my belief that everything is destined will remain forever with me. Before time, nothing happens. There is a timing for everything. If right time has not come, you will not get a thing even after putting 100% efforts for that thing. Life can change within seconds as Dev ji wrote.

For this, Yellow will give you the best answers.also the yog and nakshatra in which a person is born , does it have any importance in predictions ?

Very well said, Deeps. It's very true that people forget about destiny when they get busy in life. They forget about it also when they have a very smooth life. It's when sufferings come that the thought of destiny comes in people's mind. I also agree with you that everything is predestined, and nothing happens before time. And it's also true that it takes just a moment to change one's life.deeps wrote:He he he...Well, I live my life with the belief that I am the master of my own destiny. Aimless,
I don't know why Deeps asked me to answer it. But I can say this much that the period of the lord of the nakshatra one is born is gives favourable results, irrespective of its functional status in the chart. And then, it will also show its effect on the person's nature and in the life of the person in general.
I don't know how to read panchang either, but for gochar you can check it on this site only: http://www.lightonvedicastrology.com/ephemeris.htm

Thank you for that clarification... Can i ask u further that of all the charts, one needs to pay attention to which whicj charts the most .. I mean every chart must be indicating highlighting some aspects or the other ...so every chart will have some negatives n positives... Its so confusing then ! Coz for ex if in one chart of my chart X planet looks good bt then , this very X planet looks bad in some other chart ...

You seem to know a lot of astrology and seem to be a quick learner too, an important adjective in the profile that the western companies look for.
Rasi chart shows it all but then navamsa is seen more for individual strength of planets and also for marriage, dasamsa for job and so on. So 8th lord of rasi chart may become 10th lord of dasamsa and 9th lord of navamsa and so on. As far as the rasi chart is concerned, you know the 12 houses and so when you see dasamsa, you can see strength of 10th lord of rasi chart in dasamsa for job purpose and similarly the others. Also 10th lord of dasamsa is to be seen. If 9th lord of rasi becomes 8th lord in dasamsa, I think with respect to profession that will not help and not for general purpose. Actually no planet is completely helpful and none completely harmful Hope you got it Aim.

Not sure about it that the thought of destiny comes when there is sufferings. There are many who accepts the destiny without questioning. I have heard from many who are a success, that they believe in destiny or words like "what is written will happen".They forget about it also when they have a very smooth life. It's when sufferings come that the thought of destiny comes in people's mind.

i had seen chara dasha here mercury is in leo in navamsha and he was running sagi-aquarius when he got married .
Hi Ranbir,
I don't know much chara dasha. So can't comment.
hi deeps
since mercury is the darakarka in the chart and in navamsha its in leo according to k n rao In the period of seventh sign from where the darakarka sits in the navamsha(in this case its in leo in navamsha) the person is likely to be get into the relationship. i would like yellow to throw more light on it since he uses chara dasha a lott. and yaa deeps at that time when u had given the prediction u had used vimshotari and transits, would love to know if tribagi dasha works in that chart.

Deeps,
I feel it's so generally. Because as per my observation, those who find everything going right for them believes more in free will, instead of destiny. But it's true as well that there are some people who in spite of their success believes everything happens as per God's will.

Aim, Deep and Yellow:
It's when sufferings come that the thought of destiny comes in people's mind.
This is very true. Majority of the people who suffer, would say, it is their fate due to which they are suffering. Even those who dont believe in God would say so but see if they get everything right, they would say, I did this, I did that, it is my hard work, my intelligence and so on. That is Human nature. But we go can only go higher up in the spiritual ladder when we realise that when we suffer or when we achieve something, or whatever, it is only his intervention. When one gets selected in the interview, he would say, he is most intelligent and there cant be options other than selected him. Of course, when one is not selected due to politics in spite of his achievements and intelligence, it is due to his karma. Again God has given him intelligence and at the same time snatched away his luck due to his bad karma.

Dev,
You are absolutely right. I have noticed the same thing. Unless a person has some setback in life, he will never believe in fate. And then, people normally talk about their free will when they achieve something, missing this logic that if fate pulls down a person, it is fate only, which pushes the person up, and not free will, the belief of which does nothing more than pump up one's ego.

Yellow,
Yes, it is all ego within and then he forgets God or thinks he is as powerful as God. But when he suffers, he feels he is powerless and seeks help from God but then when again he has good time, he goes back to how he was originally being egoisitic and so on. So he is covered by the Maya and he should be careful not to be influenced by Maya. Noone can give running commentary and it has to be self realisation.

Dev ji, yellow ji , deeps ji,
but there are exceptions , like the way deeps ji mentioned that some people do value the fact that destiny is the reason they are enjoying a so to say peaceful existence. i know a lady , who swims in money , yet she is so grounded , so inclined in god, destiny and does whatever she can for the society, so basically putting her life to good use through her "favorable" destiny .
i just love going back to the example of Bill Gates (my maha purush
), i mean just look at that man , ofcourse his chart does speak of his self-less ness and deattachment towards materialistic things , giving it back to the society - nature etc , ketu gives him this inclination.
but i admire him for the purpose he is using his life for ,and with the kind of karma he is creating now, i wonder what his next birth will be like, i guess he will sit right next to God himself then
yes ,absolutely ! i also agree with you on this .It's when sufferings come that the thought of destiny comes in people's mind.

Deeps ji,
Yellow ji,
Dev ji,
ok , i got your point now. hence a native's lagna becomes vargottam if its navamsa lagna is the same as lagna chart.
but what if dasamsa chart lagna is same as lagna /rashi chart. i have this , actually quite a few of my divisional chart lagnas are same as lagna chart (though, planetory positions are different)
Hmmm..ok.Forget chalit chart. It is of no significance at all. Don't waste your time over this.
Yellow ji,
Hmmk, so it saves the person for going deeper in trouble ? can that also be ? coz my NK lord is moon , and my time started dipping big time in Moon Antardasha , so moon saved me ?don't know why Deeps asked me to answer it. Nice to see your name changed.
What you say is true, there are even people who have all happiness and still feel it is destiny and given by God and sometimes go to the extent of asking if they really deserve so much? But it is all their positive karma. But tell me how many in terms of percentage are such realised souls.
Yes, see to serve the society is a greatest thing to do, this not only those who serve but even those who dont serve the society would agree.
Yes, may be this may be his last janma. How many are there to serve the society in this kaliyug? Not many.

That's what I have read in regard to the nakshatra of the lagna, but then, it didn't work in my case either. So maybe the rule doesn't work.
