selling of property ??

Dear Members,

here are the details of a member from my own family.
she wants to sell ( either outright sell or re development of buiding ) her current property , which was renovated some time back bt the bulding is turning very old now and purchase a new house. But she is finding it very difficult to do so. the concerned property is on her and her brother-in laws name.

can some body guide me on this.
