In your friends chart the 5th house is receiving aspect from
(1) Mars the bhava lordand (2) jupiter the karaka.
Affliction to the 5th house is minimal.
In JEEVASHTAVARGA the 5th house is having 5 bindus and is quite adequate for good results.
Venus MD is running now.
(the wife's chart also need to be seen )
However I strongly believe in Venus dasa Mars antherdasa will give the native a child.
