Offer sindur to Hanumanji every Tuesday.

Offer water to rising Sun daily and fast on Sundays - you can eat all vegetarian food without salt during fast.

Recite daily - Ganesha Kavacham, any hymn for Sarasawati, Gayatri Mantra 108 times, Hanuman Chalisa, Mahamrityunjaya Mantra 108 times, Durga Suktam, Kunjika Stotram, Devi Suktam from Rig Veda.

Once every month on a Shukla Paksha Tuesday, do Hanuman Havan with 21 recitals and offerings for Hnuman Chalisa verses.

Every 2 Navaratris, i.e., before Rama Navami and during Durga Puja, do Chandi Havan with Durga Saptashati by a priest.

Yes, there was some problem of setting.

You are running Rahu-Moon and last phase of Sadhe Sati and also have Kala Sarp Dosha.

But this Sadhe Sati is going to be benefic for you. From Oct onwards your time will improve. You may get married anytime after 27th Jan.

You may do a business after Jan 27th 2013.

Wear 1) emerald 4.5 carats and 2) diamond 2.7 carats or white sapphire 4.5 carats or opal 6.3 carats set in gold.

Placed in Libra in its own Nakshatra in 9th house of Bhagya, Rahu is not only powerful but also benefic for you. In the Navansha also Rahu is good for you.

Karthik is right - Mars and Saturn together in 6th are the cause of your problems. Placed in 6th they are actually good individually, but the problem is that they are placed together.

Another problem is that they aspect your Moon and Saturn aspects your Jupiter.

The root cause of your problem has been that you have been wanting to stay in your native place.

Many people don’t count their blessings and they didn’t notice how fortune they are in so many aspects; they can rest in the blankets in the early hours of chilled winter when some children in shivering are cleaning cups for a tea stall on pavements, , knowing how some people like Stephen Hawking, Helen Keller came up in their life in spite of severe disability, they keeps on complaining on pretty things because God gave them one blessing in form of voice, Giraffe standing over on its just born calf will kicks it ruthlessly (Giraffe kick is strong enough to kill a leopard) to make it stand, even it manages to stand mother will not leave her, it keeps on beating till it could able to pick up for a run, in a 24 hours time it can run fast enough, if the mother will not teaches its calf this harsh lesson it will become a prey for hyena or leopard, its predators are fond of just born Giraffe calf’s meat, facing this harsh lesson it learns only how to survive in its life and not how to complain for its pain. And I am not pleased with some people attitude taking a step a head and commenting on fellow forum memebers personal lives.

You are running Rahu-Venus and you should get married in this period, but your Venus is in Sandhi (Transition Zone).

Besides, your Mars placement makes you a Mangalik.

The time that you've given also makes Lagna in Sandhi, creating struggles for you throughout life. If we shift the time by 4 minutes, your Lagna will go out of Sandhi, but the kind of time you have mentioned suggests it was accurately recorded. Confirm it and if there is scope of shifting the time backwards and if you haven't faced struggles throughout life, you can take your time to be 23.37.

First, this is actually Exlorings' thread. She started it to get people's narratives of Rahu Mahadasha and to discuss remedies. But despite repeated requests, gradually it is turning into a chart-reading thread.

I am responding here because Explorings hasn't been coming. I hope her health is fine.

When she comes, I plan to take a break.

you are very right that perception of suffering is actually subjective. Many people get proper food to eat, clothes to wear, a house to live in and a car to ride in, even when they don't have a job and many people can't afford these properly even when they have a job. We see ourselves in good or bad conditions according to what we are used to and how we view life.

Rahu Mahadasha is especially about perceptions, because Rahu is an intellectual planet and it creates sufferings by turning people's mind in a particular direction. But people realise this only when they are well out of Rahu Mahadasha and well into Jupiter Mahadasha.

When they come asking for reading, it's no point telling them that Rahu is creating delusions and in fact, after many years people realise that what Rahu took away was actually bad for them and they would have been in greater trouble if they had got it.

I particularly feel that looking backwards, what I lost during Rahu Mahadasha was only for my own good, but then I didn't think this way and hence, I suffered. Only, Rahu's ways of operating are wrong and that's why people suffer.

As for giving standard remedies, I have given a standard powerful remedy for all people regardless of chart in the remedy section of this forum. Here also, I have frequently given standard remedies for Rahu e.g., white sandalwood necklace, Durga Suktam, Devi Suktam from Rig Veda, Garuda Gayatri and so on. Explorings has suggested Kunjika Stotram. Anuradhaji has recommended Nava Naga stotram. And it is well known that Durga Saptashati is the most powerful remedy for Rahu; only it should be recited with Havan by a priest, unless one knows the entire procedure well.

But sill, people feel safer when they show a chart.

Your Rahu is good, but Mars aspect on Rahu is not good. Mars-Saturn conjunction is also not good.

Hence, Mars Mahadasha may create trouble.

Current transit of Saturn-Mars in Libra may accentuate this, as it crosses over your Saturn-Mars conjunction.

If you can do religious remedies, recite Hanuman Chalisa daily and offer sindur (Vermillion) to Lord Hanuman on Tuesdays.
