I have heard that illnesses can aggravate during jupiter transit through 8th house from moon. But do they remain aggravated even when the transit is over?

Transits are more important in mundane astrology and in individual charts, transits hold only 10% importance. Bad transits cannot wipe out what is promised in a running mahadasha and antardasha.

I just wish to add a bit more about transits. I will consider Transits as "Celestial Delivery Boy" as coined by Col Gour.
Based on my own experience with my chart and other charts, I saw that what is promised in a particular dasha is delivered when the planetary transits are aligned favourably.

I have been following the above thread. I want to chip in here and see if i'm on the right path and please correct if i'm not. So what we seem to say here is transits cannot wipe away what is promised by the antardasha lord. In other words if the antardasha of a lord promising marriage is in operation from lets say june 2011 to dec 2012 for example. Now in this big 18 month window we are looking for a favorable transit of planets. Is it that we are looking for the favorable transit of all the 6 planets sun, mercury, venus, mars, jup, sat OR only sat and jupiter OR atleast 4 of these 6 planets or what for the marriage to happen. when i say favorable transit in this big 18 month window we are looking for the exact time when jup will be transiting 2,5,7,9 or 11 houses from moon, sat transiting 3, 6, 11 from moon and similarly for sun, venus, mercury and mars. and if that fav transit let say happens between may 2012 to dec 2012, then we say yes marriage is happening in this smaller window rather than the 18 month window which we had before. Is this how it is? Also the other question is should not the malefic nature of jupiter to be considered when he transits the 2nd from moon for tulla lagna and mesha rasi people. lagna standpoint he is malefic, rasi standpoint he is benefic. any thoughts???

Ju transit to taurus would be my 8th H . In both rasi and dasamsa chart Ju and Ve in 9/5 combination which is considered good in astrology as per my knowledge and in jun 2012 I will start Ju-Ve dasa , so accordingly this antardasa should be good . But with this transit of Ju in taurus , it will aspect my 2nd H and also natal Ma .
What will be the consequence of this transit , what kind of bad effects can i expect ?
Ju also placed in 10th H in dasamsa .

In this regard , I must say from my experience that may be dasa antardasa has more effect than transit . During Ju-Ke dasa , when Ju in my 7th , I was/is deeply in love but she left me ( which I guess is not promised by Ju in 7th H ) but promised by Ju-Ke ( Ke stands for detachment ) , i guess .
What i want to know is Ju in taurus will aspect 2nd H and 7th Lord Ma . Will it boost earnings and establish good relation with partnet or furthur deteriorate them ?
