from the above discussions i understand that rahu can wreck havoc in the life of the person. but what happens when exalted rahu sits with mercury in seventh house of navamsa. venus is with exalted ketu in lagna of D-9.

Basically I think Rahu in the 7th house will not give a Happy married life. There will be a disturbed married life with the husband. No cordial relations with husband. Below is a chart of a lady who is known to me with birth details as below :

1st May 1955, Time - 10.05 am Place is Pune.
She is married . Have children. Even though having 4 children. Maritial relations are not gud at all. on listening her I sometimes feel how has this marriage sustained till date. May be I doubt it may be just becoz of the Jupiter aspect on the 7th house has saved the marriage. But staying under the same roof even though together they have been like divorced since long years not legally. Since has gone through all the pain which one cant imagine too. And still she is going through all the pain being in this maritial relation just becoz she is staying with the husband and children in the same house. She never had any type of happy lovlinng momments in her life. God only knows how long she has to struggle with this kind of life.

In this case, it is not just Rahu being in 7H. There are a host of other factors at play here.
1. Rahu AND Moon are both in Nakshatras of isolation
2. Mars in 12H, aspecting Moon.
3.Lagna being in Ardra Nakshatra - representing tears caused by pain
4. Sani aspecting 7H
5. 7L being with Ketu
8. Venus, Lagnesh Merc and Ketu all are in Navamsa of Scorpio owned by Mars.

I personally know couples that where one spouse has Rahu in 7H and their marriages are flourishing. Its never a single thing that causes such strain - there are usually a multiplicity of factors that cause a bad situation.

But you are right, Jupiter [ and to some extent, Sani ] has been able to sustain this marriage inspite of all the odds.

i agree with the above said points about rahu bringing chaos in married life.but what i want to ask that does'nt the situation change or improve if rahu sits with a benefic or if exalted in seventh house.

Actually I am not an astrology person. but just trying to understand the bitterness of life and the games played by the planets in human life.
What will u say for this particular chart which is undergoing Rahu MD till 2017. Will it show its effect on the planet placed in the 7th house.

Do u think will she have a peacefull life any time. Not love from husband or respect. That she wont get at all I think ever in life. But atleast the old age in peace.

Doesn't the sign in which 7th house falls to be considered before deciding if Rahu in 7th is good or bad?
In his exaltion sign Ra can be good though in 7th house but if teh 7th house happens to be a sign of enemy sign or deb point, then it could be bad in same 7th house..

First the answer to your primary question about how your Rahu-Ketu are -

I write as a person who has crossed 18 years of Rahu Mahadasha and I understand your kind of Rahu-Ketu from many charts -

Your Rahu will give you money and partnerships - professional as well as personal - from abroad and from communities other than your own. However, it will give you very bad personal experiences. Either you will not marry or your marriage will be problematic, because you will not be able to judge a person well and will waste many years of your life chasing illusions.

You may be abroad or you may want to go abroad, but Rahu will create problems in your plans. If you are abroad, you may face problems in your foreign stay.

You will have a perpetual problem of getting into uninvited trouble for no fault of your own. You will face many experiences in life when friends will turn into enemies and generally your friends, family and colleagues at work will stab you in the back. You will be popular at one stage and the very next moment you will get into trouble created by others and will become the most unpopular person around.

my Jupiter is debilitated in 4th house, but 4th lord is in the lagna (kendra), someone told me that it create Neechbhang Rajyog, and my Jupiter is exalted in navamsha (it is also creating neechbhang raj yog).

Can U please tell me that is it true sir.

4th lord Saturn is in transition zone and retrograde, eventhough exalted. Hence, it's not giving neechbhang effect. But Mars has an exaltation aspect on your 4th house and thus giving both neechbhang effect and also the benefic effect of 4th house. However, Jupiter's debilitation effect may still emerge from time to time. It is a minor cause for worry.

You can begin a thread on Raja yoga and others will respond to you. As a member you can begin a thread of your choice.

My Rahu is in 7th Gemini, Ketu is in Saggi Lagan, Jupiter is in 11th Libra & Moon in 12th scorpio
ALso Saturn and mars in 10th Virgo
Venus in 4th Pisces
Sun in 5th Aries
Mercury in 6th Taurus

I don't know if other than Rahu anything has affected our relation.

But on basis of whatever I read in above posts, Rahu alone can never be a factor.
In fact, your Rahu is in Nakshatra of Jupiter & mutually aspected by Jupiter.
Most sinister planet in your chart seems to be 8th Lord Moon, who is debilitated in both Lagna & Navamsa & is aspecting its bitter enemy & 7th Lord Mercury. 7th Lord[House of Marriage/Relations] is in 6th House[House of Dispute, Enemies]. 7th House is aspected by Saturn.

A couple of points:
1. Its never a great thing to have Dus-sthana lords exalted, UNLESS they are in own house. Only if they are in their own house do they give good results.
2. Venus in Pisces, depositor Jupi is retro and in papakartari b/w 8L moon and two malefics Mars and Saturn
