It is a very bad habit that most of we Indians have, causing lot of embarassment to those in fame, whether a player, or film actor or actress.

It is more important for India to win than for Sachin to score his 100th century. He himself may not be happy if he scores a century and India loses.

Also it appears we are more interested than he himself about his scoring his 100th century.
It is all of us who make him nervous unnecessarily. See, he has talents and will score when the time is good for him. It is not a thing of that much importance. When he does score that, it is enough if we all appreciate and be proud of this achievement. We should not make big fuss about his scoring. it is not nice to tell him that
Oh God we all anticipated, and u missed this time. When we keep on saying this, it will make even talented people nervous.

Also when a person has bad time, we just go to say that he should be kicked out. We are over reactive. The best way is for all to remain silent and see when it happens and then appreciate rather than making it an issue.

In fact, we are too selfish even when we want him to score well because we love the game and he makes us happy. It is out of selfish motive, we want him to score. Again if we want someone to be kicked out, we bluntly say he needs to be kicked out though we may never have played with bat and ball. Of course if someone plays for money and is dishonest and has bad reputation otherwise, it is a different story. Otherwise why should we react overwhelmingly on these aspects rather than problems that all of us face?

There are so many handicapped, orphans, old age homes, criminals, beggars, and most places are not as safe as they were. Any time anywhere there can be bomb explosion in spite of efforts by government. These are more worrying factors for all citizens than Sachin scoring his 100th century.

Thanks Vazu for the understanding. Anyway my intention was not to criticize u at all, it is the mindset of majority of Indians and we are all part of it. It needs to change and hopefully will.
I remember u had asked about your parent's health and ur job prospects and so on. These are more important issues and important for u. Sachin scoring another century is very easy for him and if we all keep quiet without making fuss, he will do it at the earliest.
