It's a coincidence....on this subject of Ketu in the 5th......there is an article by KN Rao in the recent saptrishi magazine.
that Ketu in the 5th from Asc or 5th from 10H is indicative of intituive astrological abilities and he has given a number of examples also

One query - 5th house ruling intellect - shouldn't it be taken into account as well - especially to see what discipline(s) the natives can go into and how s/he will fare?

How do you see whether the native will actually use this education for earning money in a related job which acknowledges his/her qualifications, or whether s/he will earn money from a completely different route?

Venus in the 9th in his own house
and sun in 10th along with Mars both in their digbala house aspected exalted Jup and Moon from swakshetra...are great placements for career....lucky and will take you to the top in yuor job

have no doubts!

You are running Sun-Ve period..which are natural enemies...and are placed 2-12 from each other...and running close to each other often times Venus is combust in transit.

the mutual enemy relations and 2-12 placement of the MD-AD lords are hurdles delaying the fructification of the ineviatbly certain yogas.

such hurdels do not stop the promise of the strong Venus and Sun and Jup and Moon in the chart....it's a matter of time and finding a right trigger.

I think at the latest the trigger might come when Venus transits over your natal venus starting 5th october......fructification could come anyday, anytime earlier also.

Have faith....you will not be denied.

If possible start fasting on fridays and praying to shukradev every-days.

Yes 5th house matters in academic matters....see the discussion with Vaughn Paul on this subject earlier in the thread
though the technique described here in this thread of seeing association of named housed in D24 is adapted from the Visti Larsen methodology.

i am about to complete my graduation in mbbs by 2013 end , can u please tell me about my postgraduation and superspecialisation , since my d24 chart appear more promising

the following are the findings in d24 :

1)scorpio ascendant ,
2) 5th lord in 11th aspected by 9th lord moon
3)9th lord in 5th aspected by second lord jupiter
4)also exchange of houses between 2nd and 11th lords that is jupiter and mercury



IN d1 , 9th lord mercury exalted in 12th house virgo ,conjunct with second lord mars
where as 4th and 5th lord saturn in 3rd house and jupiter in 9th house mutual angles to each other, and venus in second house

i have a doubt shilpa ji , do 9th lord exaltion in 12th mean post graduation in foreign countries ????

in d24
--4th lord shani is sitting in the 9th house...so you transit smotthly from early to graduation.

--9th lord moon and 7th lord Jup aspect each otehr so transition from graduate to postgradute will happen.

--Me in the 2nd house aspects it's own 7th house.......hence transtion from postgraduate to doctoral or equivalent specialization will happen, with the possibility of research

in d1

--9th and 12th lords are Me and in the 12th house would imply a long term foreign stay whihc could be for studies or even carreer matters.

-- a good chart with Moon in own house in the 10th, conjunct with Ket confirming specialization/ reserach based career.....moon in addition to a medical career also indicates a career abroad

--9th lord shani aspects the 4th house...confirming transition from school to graduatio

--2nd Lord Moon is conjunct with 9th Lord shani in the 2nd house.....hence you will go on from graduation to PG

that shani and Moon are together will make it a bit uneasy, some hurdles, mental stresses...but you will get throuhg very well in the end as the 2nd house is overall strong with Moon in own house.

--the ascendant Lord for D24 is Me in his own house...and given that Me is the karak for education / learning and you are running Me mahadasa .....you gave a pretty strong siddhamsa for completion of PG
