Dasha lord retro at the beginning of its dasha. Connection?

Hello learned members,

I was wondering if there's any connection or effect (positive/negative) whereby a mahadasha (or antardasa) of any planet 'begins' at a time when the said dasha's lord is in retrograde motion - in 'transit.'

For example: currently Saturn and Jupiter are retro in transit. Any native who completes his/her Jupiter or Rahu mahadasha in this time-frame would have entered their next dasha when their respective lords (Saturn and Jupiter) are retro. How (or if?) it'll affect their dasa quality/significations/results is what I'm after here.

Or should we consider this phenomenon only for the time of birth?
