Texas 30N14 98W40.He had Leo rising with Sun,Moon, Mars, Mercury and Jupiter in the
ascendant. Saturn is in the 8th house from both the Moon and the Ascendant retrograde and unchecked ( an unmistakable sign
sign of some break or disappointment at the close of the career). This is a powerful horoscope
and Lyndon Johnson was a powerful man, a political heavyweight in the Senate and himself
a contender for the Presidency. In the run up to the elections, when the tide began to move in favour of John Kennedy he very astutely chose Lyndon Johnson a powerful politician from the South to balance his ticket as his running mate, which proved very decisive in his very narrow

Prince William heir to the British throne was born on 21st June 1982 at 21.03 (9.03 pm)
GDT h1e Paddington England 51N32 0W12. Prince William the son of Prince Charles and Diana is immensely popular. Sagittarius rises with its lord Jupiter in the eleventh is aspecting both
the Sun and the Moon in the seventh house. The aspect is a close trine and this gives
probity, honesty expansiveness and faith. The prominence of Jupiter and aspect to the luminaries explain his philantrophy and his profession as an air ambulance pilot. Kethu is in the Ascendant and Saturn and Mars are in the tenth Rahu and Sun are in the seventh malefic in angles tend to reduce reduce the life span.

period in the the Republic Day chart, the aspect of Saturn
on both the major and the sub lords, the transit of Saturn on the
Janma Rasi of the PM and transit Rahu's imminent rendevous with

REPLY TO A QUERY REGARDING TRANSIT RAHU OVER NATAL KETHU

That is a good question. Transit Rahu transiting Natal
Kethu, a good example is John Kennedy
born 29th May 1917 had Kethu in the 10th in Gemini at 18 and when he
was assassinated on 22nd Nov. 1963 Rahu was conjunct Kethu in the
10th house in rapt conjunction.

Kethu is in Gemini ruled by Mercury which is the lord of the ascendant
and the tenth house. Mercury is placed in the eighth house (death) conjunct
Mars (8th lord). Kethu is in the nakshatra of Rahu transited by Rahu.

Jupiter was transiting the eighth from his Moon.

It was Jupiter / Saturn a bad period for his ascendant.

The analysis should be along these lines.

Prince Charles has Cancer rising with the Lagna lord in the
tenth house. In his horoscope Saturn is in the second house. There is an exchange between the lord of the third and the fourth Venus and Mercury. Jupiter lord of the ninth is also lord of the sixth placed in the sixth house. Jupiter is also lord of the ninth from the Moon and placed in the ninth therefrom.

Cancer Lagna natives may have problems in marriage, which may be due to incompatibility or
due to circumstances beyond their control.

Nehru had Cancer with Saturn in the second.
His wife died early due to tuberculosis. Sonia Gandhi and Menaka Gandhi both are Cancer Lagna natives and both are widows though they were happily married.

Astro Sage gives the same birth details but the time is taken as 12 noon.

The coordinates for Melukote Karnataka are 12N65 76E67 which translates to 12N39 and 76E40. This tallies closely with the coordinates of the same city provided in the database of the Astro Sage program which gives the coordinates for Melukote as 12N39 and 76E39.

The chart is obviously strong. Gemini rises with exalted Venus in the tenth house and a
strong Jupiter (own house). Saturn is retrograde in the second house.The Moon is powerful in digits and is with Mars in the third house. Mars is also retrograde but under check from Jupiter. This gives her the requisite courage to face her enemies.
There are many Yogas including Raja Yoga, Hamsa Yoga and Chandra Mangal Yoga.

Here Jupiter aspects the Moon and is in a 3/11 position from the Sun besides conferring Hamsa Yoga. These combinations give compassion and some level of integrity.

Jupiter Maha Dasa and Saturn Antar Dasa started on 10th October 2014.

Jayalalithaa was disqualified from holding office due to a conviction in a disproportionate assets case on 27 September 2014. There is a very small time lag (13 days) the difference could be due to any factor. This falls under the purview of July/Sat/Sat/Sat.

On May 11th May 2015, the Karnataka High Court acquitted Jayalalitha in the disproportionate assets case, and she resumed office as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on May 23rd.. She was subsequently re-elected by the electorate of Dr. Radhakrishnan Nagar (State Assembly Constituency) of North Chennai in the by-election held on 27 June 2015.

Considering that her career took off in the first instance in the 1960's and 1970's as
an actress (during the Venus and Sun Dasa) and in the second round as a politician ( during Mars and Rahu periods) after 1991 this could be a problematic phase. Saturn's transit through Scorpio could prove problematic and she could face unexpected obstacles.

The mid 1980's ( during Saturn's previous transit of Scorpio) was a period of struggle for her
and she was faced with numerous obstacles before she could prove her mettle to lead the AIDMK.

Considering that May 1991 and March 2002 were take off periods for her and
that she was a Rajya Sabha MP from 1984 to 1989 and that MGR died on 24/12/1987 the current period could be very challenging for her.


For Jayalalita who has faced so many obstacles in the past this could present many
challenges and a brief period of darkness can be anticipated from

I don't think you should get worried at all.

There are variations of this combination. In Jayalalitha's horoscope Jupiter the major lord was not only a badhaka and maraka for her Ascendant but was placed in the 7th and Saturn the sub period lord was placed in the 2nd , both powerful maraka houses compounding the badhaka (of Jupiter) and maraka (of Jupiter and Saturn) qualities of their lordships/placements from both the Ascendant and the Moon. There are many other influences which came together.


There is no major afflictions in your chart. For your ascendant Jupiter is not a badhaka nor a maraka. . In your case Jupiter's sixth house lordship and Saturn's transit in the 6th house fom your Ascendant (aspecting the 6th lord) and in the 8th from the Moon between 26th January 2017 and 21st June 2017 and October 26th 2017 to 24th January 2020 could primarily impact your health and no more. Generally when 6th (Jupiter in your chart) and 8th lords (Saturn in your chart) come together in planetary periods with Saturn's transit of the 6th house it points to health problems. As there are no major afflictions it could be an isolated event. Jupiter again rules the 6th in the Navamsa and Dasamsa charts and rules the rising sign in the Shastamsha chart. As the lords of the 6th and the 10th houses are impacted from the Ascendant and the Moon there could be some temporary impact on your work in the nature of a short term change.

Saturn's transit in the 8th house could create a temporary gridlock. . There could be problems piling up in 2018/2019 with Saturn and then Jupiter transiting in the 8th from the Moon and change around April 2019 and a positive breakthrough in 2020 with Saturn first moving in the 9th from your Moon in January 2020 (major relief) and followed by Jupiter in March 2020. Jupiter goes back and forth between Sagittarius and Capricorn in 2020. 2020 should be a good turnaround year Moreover your Jupiter / Mercury will start in April 2019. Here it is the 3rd and 12th lord in the 9th with Neechabhanga besides being retrograde so some relocation / travel/ relief is likely after that. You should not get unduly worried. As the Sun is in the early degrees of Pisces the main impact should be over by the early months of 2019. There is no major affliction in your chart. . There could be some gridlock in general some health complaints and some temporary changes in your vocation that is all. All that will be reversed in 2020. You are unnecessarily getting alarmed . As far as your career is concerned the whole trajectory should be studied.

There is a possibility of a temporary setback but it may not impact your job. Jupiter MD Saturn AD can cause some upset.

For example Obama who also has Vrishab Rasi (exalted Moon) Rohini Nakshatra like you have. Jupiter MD Saturn AD operated from September 1998 to March 2001. He was a state level politician and in 2000 he wanted to elevate to the national level but was defeated (he lost by a 2 to 1 margin) in the preliminary nominating process, the primary, which was the only defeat he suffered in his career. He had other problems also but it was temporary. . He was having Sade Sati at that time. He however continued his career at the state level upto 2004 and was elected to the US Senate in November 2004 (after his Sade Sati was over) which put him on the national level during his Jupiter MD Venus AD. So there was no break in his career just a temporary setback. In Jupiter MD Moon AD he was elected President.

You should never be fatalistic. There is freewill and God's grace. Moreover sometimes predictions go totally wrong. Freewill can change you life to a very great be extent. Every ounce of effort counts. You can refer to your chart for some guidance on the future but you should not get paralyzed by something which has not happened. Best regards.

Gandanta influences generally operates for birth with the Lagna or Moon in the Gandantas portion of the zodiac at the time of the birth or event ( they are the 4th pada of Nakshatras Revati (in Pisces), Ashlesha (in Cancer), Jyestha (in Scorpio) and the 1st pada of the Nakshatras Ashwini (in Aries), Magha (in Leo) and Moola (in Sagittarius). ) Grahas are also impacted by their Gandanta placement . There is a subtle difference in interpretation. With the Moon in Gandanta portion there are generally specific results attributed. For other planets the Rasi placements and associations also impact the result. . Generally when a planet is afflicted by the negative influences of Rahu, Kethu, Saturn, and/or Mars and it is in the Gandanta portion of the zodiac it. can be very bad. It is not in your case Jupiter which though in the Gandanta area is not afflicted.


In your case Jupiter is Vargottama and in its own house. Jupiter is also Atmakaraka. It is the 2nd and 11th lord in the 2nd in your Rasi chart which is a Dhana Yoga. Jupiter forms Gajkesari Yoga in your chart. If Atmakaraka joins Pisces Navamsa (Meenamsa) one is fond of Dharmic activity and attains emancipation. (Adyaya I Pada 2, Sutra 13 - Jamini Sutras). Jupiter is also in the Karakamsa. Karakamsa falls in the 2nd (dhan/income) in the Rasi Chart, in the 3rd with Jupiter as lord of the 3rd and 12th (travel ) in the Navamsa chart and in 4th in the Dasamsa chart in a friendly house with Jupiter 11th lord aspected by the lord of the 2nd placed in the 10th . This removes the sting to a certain extent. These are professional / money/travel combinations associated with Jupiter. A planet in the 29 degree can lose some of its potency but in actual practice it is not always so in the strict sense of the term. . Your Jupiter is unlikely therefore to do damage.

Your Jupiter period starts rather late. . Sometimes there is hidden or latent problem or weakness which comes out during the Gandanta planet period under specific transits. . It can come out in a specific sub period. It may not last for the entire period. You have Saturn in the 8th from the Moon. Your Jupiter Dasa starts in 2034. Jupiter MD Jupiter AD operates from March 2034 to April 2036. Saturn comes back to its birth position in Cancer in the 8th from Moon between 13th July 2034 to 27th August 2036. That is the Ashtam Sani period. Jupiter transits Meena Rasi where your Jupiter is placed between 28th March 2034 to 6th April 2035 . There could be some problems only at that time. It won't extend to the whole period. This is just prima facie and fine tuning is required.

Your Rahu Dasa is likely to be good as it is placed in the 9th in the constellation of Jupiter. Rahu in the 9th generally gives success and wealth. The positive influences of Jupiter related to income, travel and career could be reaped in Rahu Dasa. Your Rahu Dasa started in March. Its depositer Venus is a yogakaraka for your Kumbh Lagna. Venus is placed in a friendly house in the Rasi. Rahu and Venus are placed in the 9th and 12th houses respectively. Both are travel houses. Let me First convey my thanks for such a detailed post. The reason I asked you was, long back when I consulted an astrologer, I was told as Guru mahadasha is coming as 6th mahadasha..and also my guru is placed in gandanta...it will be end of my life. I am not bothered about leaving but the way we leave, preferably with no suffering.

Coming to my moon mahadasha...you are spot on correct that my Mars mahadasha was much better than my moon.
Moon Mahadasha....emotionally it killed me so much that I used to have panick attacks with life throwing at me sooo much.

Mars mahadasha was way better...suddenly I was feeling mentally strong...

I am really glad that you said Rahu mahadasha is going to be fine. I was told rahu spoils the house it sits in and as it is 9th house...my bhagya and luck are destroyed.
Is mercury venus conjuction and saturn retrograde in 12th and 6th axis okay?

Here in the horoscope Saturn is retrograde unchecked and aspected by Mars. Jupiter MD Saturn AD is imminent. There is a clear cut career break imminent.

The results in Punjab, Goa and Manipur indicate divergent trends and the developments in Goa and Manipur now will impact the results in 2019. In Punjab in the 2014 general election the Amritsar seat was vacated by Navjot Singh Sidhu for Arun Jaitley, who subsequently lost to Captain Amarinder Singh.. , Navjot Singh Sidhu subsequently left the BJP and joined the Congress and the very same Captain Amarinder Singh won the state elections on his birthday in 2017.

Manohar Parrikar the then Chief Minister of Goa lost power on 2nd February 2005 subsequent to events on 29th January 2005 when his government in Goa lost its majority after 4 BJP MLA s left the house. This resulted in Presidents rule in the state first and then power moving to the opposition. Jupiter was in Virgo at 24 degrees at that time near around the position it is now.
