You are right about Jupiter MD Saturn AD. Basically it is a very enigmatic period.
Even in many cases listed above these people have been at the peak of the power during Jupiter MD Saturn AD .
There are three ways the results tend to manifest.
(a) Break in Jupiter MD Saturn AD: There is a usually a prolonged rise during Rahu Mahadasa and then peaking and falling in Jupiter MD Saturn AD (Kennedy, Johnson, Jayalalitha)
(b) Unfortunate event during Jupiter MD Saturn AD: an unfortunate event or some limitation during Jupiter MD Saturn AD (Prince William) . Even for Barrack Obama Jupiter Dasa was the best period in his life and he was elected President in Jupiter MD Moon AD in 2008 during Jupiter Dasa itself , but earlier during his Jupiter MD Saturn AD he had suffered a major political setback. .
(c) Positive event during Jupiter MD Saturn AD: There are exceptions to every rule, but somehow on a close examination this period often also carries a seed of fall. Bill Clinton had Jupiter MD Saturn AD from January 1992 to April 1994 and was elected President during this period but it was during this period itself in 1994 that a Special Prosecutor was appointed to investigate the Whitewater matter. This snowballed into and included many other matters including the Monica Lewinsky scandal leading to his impeachment. Trump has Jupiter Saturn coming up.
Jupiter and Saturn when they come together often pulls people in different directions. Jupiter MD Saturn MD comes in the initial stages of Jupiter Dasa. Now Saturn Dasa Jupiter Antar Dasa comes at the end of Saturn Dasa. This is a Dasa Chidra period and there is generally litigation, unfortunate transfers , death in the family etc. Richard Nixon had Saturn and Jupiter in the 6th and 8th from each in his horoscope. He had this period between 1968 and 1970 and was elected and sworn in as a President during this period. There were certain actions of his that carried the seeds of his fall during this period. Carla Bruni had Jupiter MD Saturn AD from April 2010 to November 2012 and her husband lost power in May 2012.
Jupiter itself is very enigmatic and Jupiter / Saturn periods have to be examined under a microscope.

In the horoscope of Shivraj Singh Chauhan, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, there are signs of a major reverses. In the absence of his birth time one can only hazard the probable time of the event, but dovetailing it with the transits and keeping in mind the past events it can be said that Madhya Pradesh could be in for a lot of turmoil with Shivraj Singh Chauhan at the centre of it. While the State Assembly elections may not have a major impact there are very clear and unmistakable signs that Amit Shah's political career is coming to a decisive end in the next few years. How this will impact the Prime Minster could be a subject of further study as the events unfold. The peculiarity of periods which herald a downfall is that they happen suddenly and come from very unexpected sources. These events could be linked to developments in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan as well as Chattisgarh.

Shivraj Singh Chauhan has Saturn debilitated in his horoscope in the Dasamsa. Saturn is in the 12th from the Moon in the Rasi Chart and is aspected by Mars which is a badhaka from his Chandra Lagna. In the Rasi and the Dasamsa Chart Jupiter and Saturn are placed in the 2nd and 12th and in the 6th and 8th from each other respectively.
