It would depend upon your ascendant.

If you have the right knowledge, EXACT predictions can be made. Astrology is an incredible tool for guidance and one should take note of the energies of changing dasa lords.

Thanks so much for such prompt reply Sujit :)
Could you please explain that? Like for example my ascendant is
Leo, it would be different for me from other ones?
Trying to figure out what that friend meant, I am interested in astrology
But am trying to figure it out!
Thanks so much already.

That's a good question.

As in my situation, I had immediate effects of the oncoming Jupiter period.

Showed that my so-far-malefic Jupiter quickly overshadowed/dominated/replaced my benefic Rahu period (precisely 1 year before the end of my Rahu MahaDasha - from Jan 2010).

Regards,
NK

If your Rahu MahaDasha had been good (good is subjective and relative) overall, then expect a harsh Jupiter-Jupiter and Jupiter-Saturn Dasha. You will be able to sense that a few months before your Rahu MahaDasha ends.

Thanks for your response Neelkumar.

I had a mixed Rahu MD, had to work many folds to get what i aimed for, and mental tension for no
reason almost became my personality.
But i did achieve things on my own, met helpful people, and continued to be strong.
It was Rahu-Mangal that completed my long pending tasks in life. I guess i had too many hopes from Jupiter MD as it is in my lagna, but then sometime having a good health, loving family and people who help you when you need, is a big blessing :)

My career is the only thing that i was hoping to get some bounce in Jup-Jupiter, it is getting over.
So let's see what next.
Best of wishes to you!

Hi, Jup in Leo lagna is good but Sa and Ra in 12th is not welcome. If your Sun and Mars are well placed, you can expect very good career progress in Ju dasha.

Well, I too have Jupiter in Aquarius Lagna.
My Rahu MD Start was disappointing..but it turned benefic after couple of years.
Towards the end (and before Rahu-Jup Sandhi), my Rahu MD became supreme-benefic.

P.S. Tell me: do you have major/massive ego? I sense you have certain pride..am I correct?

Hi, I meant my jupiter is with saturn in first house, and rahu is
In 12th house.
If nothing, saturn makes you persistent as you know you
Neer to work extra, always.
Thanks for taking out tims to write :)

Ok, you may not have to work very hard if your sun and mars are placed in Sag or Aries.

Hi Neelkumar,
Thanks for writing.
My jupiter js in leo lagna so I blame ego on that :)
But it has saturn with it too in lagna, which grounds me the
Moment I start going ro high.
Life feels balanced in that perspective!
Best.

Look, let me put it in another way..and straightforward:

If you had a reasonably good Rahu MD (a Rahu MD where you achieved academic, professional, personal positives, irrespective of struggles and attempts), then please don't expect anything, atleast, from your Jup-Jup and Jup-Sat dasha. You may at times feel things not moving anywhere and you are back to square one. All the achievements down the drain.
One astrologer here in this forum told me that Jupiter will first snatch away all the resources gathered during Rahu MD. And then start showing benefic effects. Pretty scary!

Yes, if you're wondering why I asked..well, ego does form a part of the analysis.

Thanks for taking time out and writing Neelkumar.
What you wrote does sound scary,
But it does not have that heavy feeling of rahu. It does not leave you
With illusions.
But as of now I guess I will just breathe deep
And move on. A lot of times having faith in yourself is the
Best thing to have :)
Best of wishes
