My Saturn Mahadasha, Part 4 : Saturn/Venus

I am feeling good to be on track to continue my Saturn MD experience.
As per J Hora, My Saturn/Venus started 26/05/2013. I have experienced 6 months of venus effects so I thought its worth writing up my experience so far.

Saturn/Venus is considered as a tricky period by so many astrologers and it is not too easy to predict is what I heard from so many good astros.

With my limited knowledge on astrology and about my chart,
1. Venus is a good friend of Saturn and vice versa.
2. Saturn and Venus have exchanged houses creating Maha - Parivartana yoga.
3. Venus 2 lord in 11 th house creating a Dhana yoga and also conjuct with 1st, 4th, 5th and 8th lord.
4. Running Saturn Mahadasha with Saturn exhalted and retro in 7th house forming Sasha mahapurusha yoga and Garuda Yoga.



Arey wahh(WOW)!! what a combination...Do you agree?

Any foreign travels in this period???

I am already in UK since Saturn MD started ..I cant see any foreign travels in future though(but who knows anything can happen)...

K.N. Rao has been known to say that he's very cautious of Saturn-Venus or Venus-Saturn dashas. Even though both Saturn and Venus are natural friends, the mahadasha of one along with the sub dasha of the other can represent a downfall. There are some principles in Jyotish which cause the reverse results, like neecha banga raja yogas, and this is one of them. Rao's concern is well supported. In the Laghu Parashari by Sage Parashara it says, "if Venus and Saturn are in their exaltation, own sign, vargottama etc. and are powerful Yoga Karaka, then in the dasha of one and the antar of the other even the King and a millionaire become paupers, inactive, and wretched." (p 130 S.S. Sareen translation).

After big loss in my Ketu period, I stepped in to Venus with lots of hopes and dreams .
My wife had applied for her university course and she got an offer from the college for her 1 year Master degree..
We both were happy and I was actually happy that she has got what she wanted.
But later I realised it is going to cost me too much, not on money front but I have to stay away from my daughter for an year .

I was stressed and still too much stressed and emotionally disturbed because the little one is already there in India..
I never expected this is in account from my Venus.

Love is very dangerous..I felt the pain of love at every stage of my life and today I am feeling the pain as a father!..Missing her so much and its really an unbearable pain!

With all this stress and sad moments..Got an another terrible and shocking news which is keeping my mind busy by giving me more stress...

Hello Jegdish,
Yesterday I read all your threads on your journey on Saturn Mahadasha.You have very lucid way of writing and I am sure your Mercury has role to play in. This gave me idea to write my journey of Saturn Mahadasha.

My Details: DOB- 17th OCt 1984 , time: 1.10 am, Place- Tuljapur,, Maharashtra

I have exalted Saturn in fourth house of Libra(22 deg)in 4th House for Cancer Ascendent

Saturn MD/ Saturn AD: 8/122004 to 11/12/2007
This period I can sum up as hard work.My confidence was low and I always felt low about myself.Though there was very strong drive to make something big in life.In hindsight there was belief that things will fall in place.Making my parents proud of me was always in my head.In 2004 I was in my third year of my Engg, I remember I used to study very hard and think of nothing else.Around time I met my would be wife ( I never thought I would marry her since my only goal was study hard and strive for better life, everything other that study was distraction).On 3rd MArch 2005 I proposed my wife, though I felt this is big responsibility and will eat in my productive time.I was selected in Campus interview in Feb 2006 and joined job in Jun 2006.I never enjoyed the job and felt this line of field will not take me long, I tried lot to pursue my MBA but could not make it.In Aug 2007 shifted to Delhi from Mumbai in same company.

Saturn MD/Mercury AD: 11/12/2007 to 20/08/2010

I can sum this period as increase in confidence , new opportunities, real learning, two job change for good , unexpected promotion, marriage with my long love after lot of struggle and dream job at MNC in Bangalore.My whole outlook towards life is positive and hopeful. I have lot of good memories from this time frame.

Feb 2008 Jun 2010: Good Job at TATA MOTORS and lot of learning.I am get expansive feeling coming out of closed room an feel and able to breath. I got unexpected promotion and there were 100 people reporting to me.This is something I never dreamed in Aug 2007.I had feeling that I could achieve anything.Though I lost some money on Aug 2008 market crash (3-4 months Pay).

6 Jun 2010: Got married to my GF and Change in job to MNC in Bangalore.This was change from hardcore manufacturing to posh high scraper building of corporates.This was like wow...I never dreamed that I would get into this job.Though I am leaving my safe core zone what I have learned in my Engg college.I was elated during this time period.

Saturn MD/Ketu AD: 20/08/2010 to 29/9/2011

This period I can sum as travel to foreign land and wife/family drama.
I manager told to prepare passport and get ready for lot of travel. Feb 2011 applied for US business VISA.I did not know these were difficult to get, in my team I only get B1/B2 VISA and all other team members VISA got rejected.My relations with my wife was in rough waters due to family drama.Typical tug of was between mother and wife.This made me frustrated at times but i was focused on job and career.
I only get to travel to US for training, my maiden foreign travel(11 Feb to 3rd MArch 2011) and this will give me edge in my career here in this MNC.I never had dream or motivation to travel to foreign lands.After my return I get to support projects in Thailand and Uzbekistan.Since I had training and psychological edge I got the best projects that we had.

Saturn MD/Venus AD: 29/9/2011 to 29/11/2014

I can sum up this period as discovering that we had big problem that we will have difficulty in becoming parents, major surgery of my mother and my Mother in Law got diagnosed with Cancer & Lot of travels to foreign lands and luxury to fullest during my foreign travels.
I must have made 12-16 foreign trips during this period.Became team leader in Aug 2013.This was bi turning point. I had strained relationship with my wife since I was always on travel.My wife started working during this period though her job was not inline with her expectations.My mother got operated for disc herniation and Mother In law was diagnosed with Cancer and she passed on 13 Feb 20.I realised during this period I was to focused on career and was selfish and did not acknowledged my wife went through.During this time I re-discovered I had soulmate.This period was rekindling my relationship with my wife.After my mother in law passed, I always strived to take her mother's place. I still cannot forget last look she gave just before going higher abode.That look shifted my focus to my wife..

Saturn MD/Sun AD: 29/11/2014 to 11/11/2015
This period I can sum up as new home,Job insecurity, increased in income and my teammates always plotting to pull down me.
Brought new home as change to my wife to pull her out of sorrow she had been after my mother in law expired.
At work place this was start of downturn.Since I had changed from my core field to other field where I was striving just because I had process knowledge and no one wanted that process in market.I am struck situation.I was learning new leadership things during this period.Some auspicious things like housewarming, new furniture.My bonding with wife is only growing.

Saturn MD/Moon AD: 11/11/2015 to 11/6/2017
My mind was very restless and phobias of loosing my job.I started searching job with no luck.Our discussion of having children was at dead end.I did enjoy staying at my new house.I really felt at peace staying at home.

Good summary Shriastrology.
I am back after 10 years .
Long story short. Venus bhukti(May 2013 until May 2016) has been good. Did not make me pauper, infact gave me extras .
Intial struggles with wife starting uni and daughter away but then after she finished her studies september 2014 we had a beautiful reunion. Wife got her job in just a month. Daughter started school in UK and was blessed with a baby boy on 30/05/2015 ( a good finish) .
So another beautiful period.

I am running Saturn Mahadhasha starting 2006 until End of 2025.

I started with company X in October 2006 just as Saturn MD was to start. Till today 17 years I was with same company - differnet locations. I had good time so far, bought House, Son was born, however lost Mother (age related). But now after 17 years during Saturn MD - Jupiter AD - Lost job. started searching for new.

Looking at how Mahadasha Transition to Mecrury Mahadasha from Saturn will happen

So far
1. Mars MD 3 Years - was baby, not much
2. Rahu MD 18 years: Education Roller Coaster, breaks but finished Bachelors
3. Jupiter 16 Years- was kick in Education and Work. Finished Masters, got a job, started own company but couldnt continue, landed in multiple jobs, change of places, Marraige, Birth of Daughter & Loss of Father,
4. Saturn MD 19 Years, Started in Dec 2006 - So far I would say great even though I had stress, had to put lot of effort, health a bit was affected but much better now. But now in Saturn MD - Jupiter AD - lost job.!!

3. Ketu Start Date: August 15, 2012 End Date: September 23, 2013
Job Stable, Stress and Work Load

4. Venus Start Date: September 24, 2013 End Date: November 23, 2016
Job Stable until Mid 2015. Change of Place 3 in Mid 2015 and Change of Place 4 End 2016
No change in Organisation

5. Sun Start Date: November 24, 2016 End Date: November 05, 2017
Movement to new Place 4 (end of 2016), Job stable, Less Stress, God work load

6. Moon Start Date: November 05, 2017 End Date: June 06, 2019
Job Stable. No issues. No change in Organisation

7. Mars Start Date: June 07, 2019 End Date: July 15, 2020
Job Stable, Work Load, Stress at work. No change in Organisation

8. Rahu Start Date: July 16, 2020 End Date: May 22, 2023
Work Load and Stress at work, Bought a house, No change in Organisation
