Finally today, at about 8.11am in my sofwtare, Jupiter became direct in Aries.

Those who are running Jupiter Mahadasha, Jupiter's Antardasha or Pratyantar, those who have a powerful Jupiter in Kendra or trikon houses, or have an exalted Jupiter, those who have a debilitated or afflicted Jupiter, those who have a combust Jupiter, those whose Lagna or Rashi Lord is Jupiter - please watch and come back to tell us if you see any difference in your life from today onwards, as compared to the happenings in last few months.

Several members running Jupiter Mahadasha came and wrote in last few months that despite Jupiter Mahadasha they were not getting benefic results - there was many a slip between the cup and the lip. Apart from other reasons, retrograde Jupiter may have been a reason for this. If so, does Jupiter Mahadasha/Antardasha/Pratayntar give a better result for them?

Well, I am running Jupiter Mahadasha and there have been many a slip between the cup and the lip for me. Many gainful possibilities looked as if they were going to materialise, but either didn't materialise or results are still awaited. I happen to have a strong, unafflicted Jupiter as I have written earlier. So, let's see what happens in the coming months - with an exalted Saturn and a direct Jupiter in Jupiter Mahadasha (not to talk of a wayward Rahu) for me.

I am running jupiter mahadasha since 2008 june...jupiter is placed in 9th (tauraus) from lagna. I am going through a rough patch in my life.I will definitely write here if anything good happens.

Your Jupiter is not very powerful, is not a friend of your Lagna and currently, it's placed in your 8th house till May next year, which is not good.

I expect it to give you good results when it gets exalted in your 11th house after about 2 and a half years or so. But of course, other planets of your chart, especially Mercury, Venus and Saturn also matter.

I think there are some other afflictions in your chart which are obstructing Jupiter Mahadasha for you. It doesn't seem to be because of Jupiter.

In response to your query on Saturn combustion thread -

Your Jupiter is of not much use, as its aspect on 10th house is not very powerful and it has a debilitating aspect on your 2nd house of wealth. Since this is Saturn's own house, Moon is under stress from Saturn here - this is also an exchange between 2nd and 8th lords.

Saturn is mostly benefic in your chart, except causing melancholia, anxiety and depression from time to time. Its exalted transit in your 11h house should give you money but not mental peace.

As for your career problems, Venus is debilitated in your 10th house. Hence, Venus periods are bad for career, eventhough Mercury will give its effect. You should work in fields such as communication, languages, computers, writing etc to derive benefits from your Mercury.

Besides a debilitated Venus, Mars is malefic in your 10th house.

Rahu benefic in 11th is compelled to give you financial gains through jobs which keep you in organiser's or supervisory position. You can't avoid it. Perhaps you can look for a job of your choice, which also involves stratetgic planning on your part. That will satisfy your needs as well as of Rahu's.

Wear emerald 4.5 carats set in gold.

Recite Hanuman Chalisa, Dashavatara Stotra and Shri Suktam from Rig Veda daily.

In the evening, light a mustard oil or til oil diya and recite Dasharatha Shani stotra.

Feed crows daily. Do regular charity for poor, orphans, handicapped and menial workers.

I am also running through jupitrar MD from nov 24,2011. So all the dasha are jupitar. I have gemini lagna and jupitar in 9th house( Aquarius) with venus. Lord of 9th house ( shani) is in my lagna. Lord of lagna(mercury) is in 8th house ( capricorn) with moon and sun. Rahu in 6house( scorpio)and Mars in 7th house(Saggitarius).

I really disappintedtrom almost last 12 years of my life. I am highly educated but with little succes on carrer front. I was waiting long for jupitar md but it feels like I am no where( tottaly diappointed).

Would you mind to explain my birth chart for me? I really wanted to know what is good for me what is not.

Thank you very much for studying my chart and for providing remedies.
I am relieved at seeing your point that Saturn is mostly benefic in my chart. I have been seeing conflicting information in books regarding whether Sat is benefic or malefic for Sg lagna.
I thought, as the 5th and 12th lords, Mars must be mainly benefic. Is it bcoz Mars is in Mercury's house in the 10th, that you mention Mars as turned malefic? Also I thought Rahu is malefic too for Sg. My previous Rahu Dasha was a mix of a few pleasures and a lot of pain.
About wearing Mercury's emerald for career issues, would it cause other issues, due to Mercury's status as a Badhaka? Please advise in this regard.

Yes, it is because Mars is not only in Mercury's sign, but also with Mercury and Venus, thus decreasing their powers, though it has a benefic aspect on Lagna, 4th and 5th houses.

Rahu is inimical to your Lagna, but is compelled to give financial gains, though not happiness.

If you don't feel comfortable wearing an emerald, you can wear ruby 4.5 carats set in gold.

Venus is your best planet and being Lagna Lord, gives you good results.

You may not light diyas and feed crows if you can't find them in the US.

Jupiter won't cause harm.

I still wanted to know is jupitar dadhkesh in gemini lagna and how much harmful and beneficial it could be by lord of 7th and 10th house of kundali and standing in 9th house with venus.

Dear Sanidhavi Ji,

I would also like to share the experience of Jupiter Mahadasha with you.
My birth details are 12 July 1978, 6.15 pm delhi

I am dhanu lagna with Jupiter in 7th along with Sun.
My Jupiter Dasha started in 2009 and now I entered Jupiter/Saturn.

I got a very good job in a big company with good salary and big money as my Jupiter transitted to 5th house in May 2011. Since then, money is coming in the form of different forms. Apart from my regular salary and bonus, I made close to $ 100,000 (dollars) in the last 6 months. When Jupiter went to retrograde, the inflow of money kind of decreased and from Dec 25 onwards, it started again. Now I am looking forward to the next 4 months when I am supposed to get a salary raise, an year end bonus and some stock options. I have a feeling that Jupiter in 5th will give me all before it enters 6th.

I am not sure if this is all because of Jupiter in 5th or my Jupiter/Saturn dasha ? Jupiter/Jupiter ddidn't give me very impressive results. Could you explain why ?
Also could you please comment on my Jupiter Mahadasha ? What all can I expect in this dasha ? How will be the Jupiter Transit to 6th house ? What can I expect in 6th house transit.

Some people also say that I have a combust Jupiter so it is weak. I am still not convinced because Whatever I am today is because of my Jupiter. Is it because of Jupiter/Sun conjunction that gives me good fortune ?


Please elaborate on this as I still haven't got an answer to this question.

Jupiter's aspect on Lagna is decreasing the power of the Lagna. But it will not turn malefic. It may only lead to giving decreased effect of the Lagna.

Diamond will hurt Jupiter and he is 7th and 10th lord. That's why I didn't suggest it. It's better to recite Shri Suktam after Vishnusahasranama or Dashavatara Stotra as I suggested, than to wear diamond. Shri Suktam will give you the benefic effect of Venus and Moon without causing harm.

I feel your Jupiter-Jupiter was average because Jupiter is close to deep combustion in your chart.

Your Saturn, the ruler of 2nd house of wealth, aspects your 11th house of financial gains with an exaltation aspect. Hence, Jupiter-Saturn has given you the kind of wealth you have mentioned. This is further enhanced by Jupiter in 5th in Gochar, Saturn exalted and Sun benefic for 1-7 axis in Lagna chart.

Combust Jupiter on its own couldn't have give you all this money. I haven't seen people with non-combust exalted Jupiter making this kind of money only on the strength of Jupiter, without help from other planets.

You will make further gains while Jupiter is in Aries and Saturn is exalted.

Jupiter in Taurus will give you work opportunities and exalted Saturn will continue to give you wealth during that period. This effect will continue even with Saturn in Scorpio, because Saturn will aspect its own house of wealth from there.

your Jupiter Mahadasha should be largely benefic.

You can wear yellow sapphire 4.5 carats set in gold to get stronger effects from Jupiter.

There are some problems in your Lagna and Gochar charts -

Jupiter is not well-placed. Lagna lord is in 6th. Exalted Saturn is malefic in Gochar. Rahu-Ketu are malefic in 4-10 axis in Gochar.

Jupiter-Mercury should give you good results.

Recite Ganesha Atharvashirsha, Dashavaatra Stotram followed b Shri Suktam, Mahamrityunjaya Mantra 51 times followed by Devi Suktam.

In the evening, light a mustard oil or til oil diya and recite Dasharath Shani stotram.
