Timing of property inheritance

Post by tenko » 22 Aug 2019

How can we figure out when the native will inherit property ?

Is it possible to determine this from Rasi chart alone ? (eg: during the dasa of owner of 8th house of inheritance and antara dasa of 4th house of property etc)

Should we use D4 ? If so what houses should we consider ? (Eg: 4th house for property, 8th for inheritance, 11th for gains, 5th for purva punya etc). Should we consider any Arudha Pada ? (eg: A4=house, A8=? etc)

Can someone elaborate this concept or point me to some good material on the topic.

Thanks !

I want to add to this question. Not exactly regarding inheritance though but purchase of a property/ fixed asset.

What should be the right time for me to buy a house and what kind of house should I buy? Could it be true for someone that they will not earn after buying a fixed property, like their assets would reduce after buying a property and they would incur other kind of losses in other arenas of life after buying a huge fixed asset like a property? What combinations of planets in which houses could bring about the same?

As far as my observation goes if birth chart has strong 4th house , karaka for 4 house and lord of 4th house , one gets house by inheritance or purchase of a house or both . Dasa and anthardasas connected with the 4th house along with Jupiter's transit or aspect on 4th house , materializes that event provided Saturn does not come in the way by bad transit like Ashtama or seven and half years transit . Again this happens from moon also when all the r above factors favour that event .

9th house of D1 and its lord are important in addition to the factors mentioned here in case of inheritance from father. 8th house of D12 assures the inheritance if well placed.

For purchasing a home,4 th, 6th,11th and 2th houses are to be seen.4 th denotes property, 6th getting loans, 11th denotes gains and 12th the expenses.
Well placed A8 in D2 helps to get bank loans.
Jupiter Venus and Mars are signifying planets. Saturn for cultivation properties, Quarries .

4th 11th and 12th houses in D1 for purchasing a home by own finance.
4th,6th,11th,12th- for purchase through loans
4th 5th 8th 9th 11th and 12th for inheritance of a property. 5th denotes paternal grand father and 12th denotes maternal grand father.

Hi,

If whatever is indicated in D-1 is reaffirmed in the corresponding divisional chart, it is more likely to happen.

8th house, 8th lord and planets in 8th house represent unearned wealth which includes inheritance.

In one case, the native has Ketu in 9th in both D-1 and D-4 charts. The 8th lord Venus is exalted in D-4. Natural karaka for property, Mars is with Venus in D-1 and aspects Venus in D-4. Here, properties karaka being related to Venus in both charts indicates that the unearned wealth is in the form of inheritance. Also, 9th lord Mars is dispositor of Ketu.

This person inherited his father's house in Ketu-Venus.
