Rule for D-10 Analysis:
1. Planets placed in Lagna (if not in debilitation or weak) gives excellent results in career.

3. Exalted planets (placed anywhere) gives excellent results in career.
4. Planets placed in 3H gives poor results.
5. Dasha of 8L may not be very good for career.
6. Rahu & Ketu will give results of their dispositor lords or the planets making PAC connection with them.

D-10 Analysis for Salman Khan:

{Plz note the entire analysis is only for D-10. I've just analyzed his career. No attempt has been made to look for his marital results of controversies}



1. Aug 1986 (Age 20+) Jup dasha started which is LL of D-10, a gud time to start career
Aug 22, 1988 Dasha: Jup-Jup-Rahu
Rahu is in 5H with exalted Sun and Rahu's dispositor Mars is in Lagna of D-10.

2. Oct 1988- Apr 1991 Dasha: Jup-Sat
Sat is (making Shash yoga in Moon Chart) 3L of arts/performance of D-10
Ven is exalted in 4H of D-10, perfect time to success. Movie Maine pyar kiya was released on Dec 1989 (PD of Ven).

This also verifies the principle that planets (which working as MD) never give results in their own AD. Though preparation are always going on for results.

3. Second movie Baaghi Release date: 21-Dec-1990 Dasha: Jup-Sat-Rahu
26th Dec PD of Jup started and the movie was also a hit.

4. Just after the Sat AD, he got Mer AD (Apr 1991-Aug 1993) which is placed in 3H of D-10
A lean phase for career.
Movies: Sanam Bewafa, Pathar ke phool,Kurbaan, Saajan (PDL Ketu was saviour here), Love (PDL Ven), Suryavanshi, Ek Ladka ek ladki, Jaagruti, Nischay, Chandramukhi etc which were almost flop movies.

5. Ketu AD started from Aug 1993
Ketu's dispositor lord Ven is exalted
Andaaz Apna Apna in Apr 1994 in the PD of Sat ->Superhit

6. Ven AD started from July 1994
Ven is exalted in D-10 in 4H. It is placed in 10H from MDL Jup
So its time for something really big as Malvya Maha purush yoga of D-10 will fructify.
5-Aug-1994: Hum Aapke hein kaun (First Indian 100 crore movie and at that time it was highest grossing bollywood movie of all times)

7. Ven AD continued from July 1994 to Mar 1997
Movies: Karan Arjun (PD of exalted Sun), Khamoshi (PDL of Rahu)

8. Mar 1997-Dec 1997 AD of exalted Sun started
The career saw rise with movies like Judwaa

9. Dec 1997-April 1999 AD of Moon
Though being in 3H of D-10, Moon shd give almost no work or bad phase of life but it went juts ok with movies like Pyar kiya to darna kya (PDL Rahu), Jab pyar kisi se hota hai (PDL Jup) etc
In future too, Moon's results are always ok or good.

10. Apr 1999-Apr 2000 AD of Mars
Movies released like Biwi No 1, Hum Dil de chuke Sanam, Hello Brother and Hum saath saath hein.
Almost good business and good reputation as an actor.

11. Apr 2000-Aug 2002 AD of Rahu
Rahu is with exalted Sun and its dispositor Mars is in Lagna.
Mostly the average movies like Har dil jo pyar karega, Dhai akshar prem ke etc

Aug 2002-05 AD of Sat
Tere Naam (PD of Ketu) fetched him good appreciation. Other movies were Baghban, Garv, Mujhse shadi karogi, Lucky-No time for love and like many which were just average. Maine pyar kyon kiya (PD of Jup was ok)

Aug 2005-May 2008 AD of Mer
Second most lean phase of career with movies like Kyon ki, Shade kar ke phas gaya, Saawan, Jaan-e-man, Baabul etc Almost all of them were flop or below average.
One question here, Wont the PDs helpful here?
Well, to some extent they are helpful e.g. Salam-e-ishq (PD of Mars), Partner (PD of Jup) grossed good business.

May 2008-June 2009 AD of Ketu
Just average or below average movies like God tussi great ho, Hello, Heroes & Yuvraj

June 2009-Aug 2012 AD of Ven
This AD of Ven proved to be a turning point in his career with one by one block busters like
Wanted (PD of Ven), Dabangg (PD of Rahu) and Ek tha tigar (Pd of Ketu)
His career went higher & higher after this AD.

Aug 2012-July 2013 AD of exalted Sun
Dabangg2 (Pd of Jup) {10th highest grossing bollywood movie of all times}

July 2013-Mar 2015 AD of Moon
Moon again gave him mild results for the movie Jai ho (PD of Jup) & Kick (Pd of Mer Surprise!!)

Mar 2015-Apr 2016 AD of Mars
One of the greatest hit Bhajrangi Bhaijaan, now the India's highest second grossing movie. And Prem ratan dhan payo.

Apr 2016-Feb 2019 AD of Rahu
Rahu is again giving him excellent results with movie like Sultan.

Feb 2019-Aug 2021 AD of Jup
Jup will again prove to be excellent and he'll continue rocking.

Mer will start the downfall of his career.
He may take some break (forced or voluntary) in career and again in the AD of Ketu /Ven he may surface again for his 2nd innings.

Its really awesome to note that divisional charts provide so fascinating results related to career. One may ask the question why there were so many controversies or marital issues or legal issues? but such questions will be answered by other D-charts.

Dear Dr. Neeraj,
thanks for posting......and would be interesting to read your detailed view on D10
here are my few thoughts generally on his chart.......it's always interesting to analyze the celebrities

--lagna lord is in the 10th house...sinhgasan yoga....and exalted...that's rarely seen....and a very strong yoga
such that even Vimsottari dasa doesn't apply I read somewhere ( but not sure)

--Ra in mutual kendra to Sa gives indevertently association with people with dubious / shady activities and also puts him in controversial situations....although with the strength of lagna lord....it's unlikeyl for him to get trapped into any material trouble.

--Sa-Mo conjunction is Visha-yoga...fogs / clouds his thinking.....not the brightest mind given that Moon is further in mutual kendra with enemies Ra and Me on either sides.

the Ke-Me conjunction is an enunch yoga....whihc in this chart manifests as delayed marriage as it occurs in the 8th house of conjungal bliss from marriage.
he will get married though....navamsa is better for marriage.

having a child naturally may be problematic...5th lord in Rasi, navsamsa is afflicted and afflictions in D7 also.

--D10 is also strong...lagna lord aspcting his own house.....and rasi lagna lord sits with D10 lagna and in a strong chandra-mangal yoga

Ven, sun exalted grant further strength to D10
but the real super strong diffrentiator is the lagna lord of Rasi exalted in the 10th

It is always interesting to analyse a celebritis chart but I have
Rarely seen astrologers who analyse a persons chart at 8-12 yrs of age
And predict that the kid would be celebrity or some very famous person.
I have never seen any articles in this forum from anybody analysing
Such charts whom they feel can be a celebrity in future.

It is always easy to relate some principles of astrology after
The events happen. Would really appreciate if any of you can
Stick your neck out and pick couple of charts of young boys or girls and
Give analysis.

You're correct in ur observations. Postmortem is always easy than predictions. But then Astrology is all about predictions.
Our teacher Sh KN Rao says one must analysis many many charts and try to see the patterns that are repeating. This enable a person to predict for a chart when similar patterns are available. My attempt was simply to demonstrate that D-10 alone gives a fairly good idea about the career of a person (Of course the MDL & ADL shd be suitably placed in D-1 & D-9 too) .

One more sutra given by Rao sir is "It is better to get a favorable dasha in a weak chart than a strong chart with unfavorable dasha" Its wonderful that Salman Khan got 35 yrs of dasha of planets whgo are involved in many rajyogas in D-1 & D-10.

As regard predicting for young kids, classics prohibit to predict anything for young kids (<12 yr age).

Appreciate your response. It is always good to analyse many charts and try to find any patterns which may be useful in future predictions. The 12 yr period is probably for one complete cycle of Jupiter. Can we predict for kids who are above 12-18yrs of age and analyse if any of them is going to be very famous / celebrity before they actually become one

Aravind has raised valid point. Why no astrologer can predict useful events in advance. Backward analysis is very easy, anybody can do it. With celebrity, we like to watch in limelight, how they becomes famous, in the news, and we know it can be verified. If they can truly predict in advance, THEY will be sitting in Parliament, White House, and the Downing Street! Why astrologer will waste their time studying fifty thousand horoscopes, just predict correct fortune for 1 good person, who YOU SHOULD KNOW in advance WILL REWARD YOU handsomely. Then case closed. Client is very happy as event came tru. Astrologer very happy as he got paid well. Everyone can enjoy and no need for anything else.

But ordinary person? you and me? Forget it! Astrology is usless to predict anyting . I have seen, 8 out of 10, astrologers predictiion go wrong. Why? Too little time spent on analysis, they only give standard answer to you, same is printed in newspaper daily. Tell them to predict who will win USA election - not one will guarantee it.

That is why in western countries, no one accepts astrology as valid . They think its all timepass, and only part of Indian culture, no one else in the world follows this. State Govt. of karnataka tried to ban astrology teaching in school . Some minister had said he will implement, but state said they will not allow.

I have personally met couple of old time classic astrologers who generally are
Not bothered about any rewards and lead an extremly simple life away from
Mainstream people. Money has no meaning to them . They predicted some amazing
Things . So I believe astrology is not useless, it is the skill and dedication of the astrologer
which eventually determines whichway a prediction goes. As a big majority of adtrologers
Get it wrong we tend to criticize astrology but actually it is the inability of the astrologer.

I agree,, those people are very rare. they have high intuition, then can sense and see things, on different planes, than others. Its visual power of some sort.

I was also trying to point ignorance of most astrologers, but india has many ready clientele. Lot of people lining up on a astros doorstep daily! Everyone has some issue or another, but they don't try to solve it. They want easy asnwer from astro it seems astro can tell everything from marriage, to child births, to higher education, nothing left to explore and experience on your own... everything happening as per astro wonderful prediction.

If prediction is wrong by few months, or one year, fine. if its wrong by 3-4 years, then? who will they blame? Supposing astro says you will be very rich by 35. But you cross 36, 37, still nothing... then 38 or 39 you win lottery . Well its ok as long if you get to live long enough to enjoy, maybe another 25-30 years? BUt what if thhat client dies at 40??? then not only is the astro error of 10-15% from predicted date, but he also could not predict clients untimely death

Such prediction is not accurate. That is what I was saying. General stuff anyone can predict.
