Divide the Rasi into 7 parts. Find where the longitude of Lagna is located. Move clockwise - for a South Indian style chart - from Lagna rasi (if lagna is odd rasi, counting from lagna) or from the 7th (if even, counting from the 7th) to the part number to get the lagna of D-7.
