Planet in 6th Dasamsa

Hello everyone,
wondering if a learned member here can help me with this question...

I have heard, as I'm sure many of you have, that planets in a divisional chart like the D10 are best in Kendra/ trine(to some degree, but mostly kendra).

My Question is: does the same idea that applies to rasi - where a malefic does well in upachaya house, also apply to a varga like D10? (ex: like how generally in a rasi chart, mars or saturn or rahu in the 6th house could be good)
Would this apply to reading a dasamsa aswell?

of course this is even assuming there are "houses" in divisional charts.
But if not...then how would one read it if a planet like mars or saturn is in the 6th "house" in a dasamsa chart?
