So what numbers can get on with what numbers since we are concerned whether intermediary digits can get along from the above discussion?

Cheiro has certain ideas on this.

But for us which serves our purpose, even numbers get on well together and odd numbers get on well together. They are in a 1st-7th, 3rd-11th and 5th-9th relationship. If you like monetary gains, then 3rd-11th relationship is best. This from the bhavas point of view, which gets its tone similar to the concept of functional rulership.

One special example on how the intrermediate digits gel would be this :

Your block number, level number and your unit number of your apartment, the various single digits formed from folding all gel. A more dramatic example evev the various fees you paid, the single digit number formed from folding each fee figure also gel plus gelling with the previous group as well.

And a more dramatic example would be that the planets represented by the single digits mentioned above as functional rulers, rule good houses or placed in good houses like the 11th in your vedic chart.

Intermediate digits that represent bhavas that are kendras in a vedic chart are also good. They are in a 4th-10th relationship.

The planets found out from the intermediate digits discussed earlier, we can consider not just their functional rulership, but their relative position to each or one another in your vedic chart. They should also be in a 4th-10th, 3rd-11th, 5th-9th and 1st-7th relationships.

Just to give you a good example of how this works.

If your living room is in the west and your tv is facing you from the south.

Now let's say your 7th house has the Ascendant Lord, a spiritual planet rettogading in its own sign and ketu. Then the living room is extremely holy.

South position is where Sun and Mars are digbala and thus is a place of fire. If Mars is in the 10th for a Cancer Ascendant, then the TV, which nneds electricity to run, would do well sitting there with the screen facing you. It might even bring health benefits.

Note that you can also consider South-East as a place of fire, but that is from Vastu. BUT it is also from jyotish which says that the Sun's rays are strongest in the 10th and 11th bhavas.

Feng Shui regards the south as the place of fire. The symbolic animal representing south is the red phoenix.

Some notes on ego and dharma :

Sun, Mars and Jupiter are dharmic planets as they are the natural rulers of the dharmic fire signs. But they can veer towrds ego in the Vedic Chart eg. Sun combusting many planets, Mars receiving aspect from or sitting together with other natural malefics and Jupiter in kama houses with his natural enemies Mercury or Venus. Remember Mars stern and assertive behaviour (more so than the Sun) is not adharna (but anger yes).

As mentioned in earlier post of mine, Venus is ego in Vedic Astrology and Venus is Rajastic (Also Sidereal Libra is mostly Tropical Scorpio and the latter never forgets a slight and is ego par excellence). Ego means you think you are the only who can do something, who can change the course of human affairs and that epitomises Tropical Scorpio (and secondly Tropical Aires the 'I' persona, which converts mostly to Sidereal Taurus which is Venus other sign).

Back to Sidereal (Vedic) Astrology, Venus, or any other planets to a certain extent, can exhibit ego, but mostly it is Venus. A bhava which is strongly afflicted with ego, one would approach affairs of that bhava in an egoistic manner, with no help from God. Ultimately it leads to adharma, because we alone are not the best persons to make decisions that affect your soul or other people's soul, unless it is your karma ie. ordained by God, for you to be the decision player or decision maker. If one goes ahead with it regardless of consequences, the result would be terrible for you.

Venus if it realises that although its power is obtained from Jupiter ie. the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, wonders can be accomplished. This happens when Venus is exalted in Pisces or when it has strong association with the other dharmic planets like Sun, Mars and Jupiter. Note that Mars must be very good like pure and placed in a good bhava, for it to associate with Venus in a very beneficial way.

Of the three dharmic planets, Jupiter is the best, representing the Trinity of God, undertaking the cosmos function of creation, maintenance and destruction. The Sun represents the soul, the fusion of the Trinity, which is part of God, but sometimes can get deluded by the ego (the Sun is weak in Venus houses like the 7th and 12th where Venus is karaka), and Jupiter has to step in to guide it. Or even Mars too, which is Vishnu incarnation in the form of Narasimha (lion-man), so that's why we need Mars to put things right, to enforce order and discipline, when the Sun fails in its duties.

Venus is born from Pushya, where Jupiter is the deity.

Sun helps in attaining moksha if strong, that the Trnity of God is actually one, no difference, with each part of the Trnity subtly undertaking the functions of the other parts of the Trinity as well. Sun also helps us to realise our soul is God, "As Above, So is Below" . But that our soul is also individualised (Sun also represents the individuality of a person), and that we have our separate ways to attain moksha, merge with the supreme, or to stand apart and seek the loka (heavens) that we want.

Note that in the Narasimha Vedic tale, Mars did not step in until the very last minute. Mars tactics are used last because their application is final. There is no turning back.

Sorry, the other egoistical sign Tropical Aires translates mostly to Vedic Pisces where Venus, the goistical planet in Vedic Astrlogy, is exalted. It does not translate to Vedic Taurus where although Venus rules, Moon is exalted. Moon is a compassionate, caring planet, who thinks for the society in general, even if other ultra-conservatives (Ketu) think otherwise.

But Venus in Pisces translates to Lakshmi lying on Vishnu feet. So some Tropical Aires people sublimates their ego and becomes very compassionate to others.

One Vedic sage mentioned that emotions have no place in our quest for God.

Well, yes, in a way he is correct. Jupiter rules ether, and ether is the base for all other elements. Our knowledge of God is basically through listening of scriptures (knowledge) accentuated by yoga (Mars) and knowledge of the soul (the Sun), Jupiter's friends.

Moon is the emotional planet and its conjunction with Saturn (emotionless) ans Ketu (a divine turn of mind) is all that is required to lead a spiritual life. They are asking Moon to dampen its emotions.

Venus exalted in Pisces shows emotions for the love of God, with a self-sacrificing attitude towards humanity at large, also contributes towards us in getting closer to God.

7 considered very lucky as destiny number. Many sportsmen, celebrities have a seven destiny..There are seven seas in the world, 7 colors of the rainbow, 7 main planets, 7 rishis(saptarishis) etc to extol #7 virtues

However...

1) Roger Federer - Born 8/Aug/1981 - Day 8, Month 8, Destiny number 8(35)
2) Mark Zuckerberg - Born 14/May/1984 - Day 5, Month 5, Destiny number 5(32)

8 & 5 recurring numbers per numerology for them. This is not to say an 8 or 5 is all powerful(although 8 is considered on many occassions). Each number has its own potency and turns out to be lucky for different people at different times.

Note here that Federer has name number 50 and Zuckerberg's is 46. Both very powerful numbers in themselves.

One point the above article forget is that any number divisible by 9 (ie. the digits add up to 9), when multiplied by ANY number, the result is still divisible by 9.

Thus some of the examples given, which is based on a base example, can be discounted, like talking about the smaller Hindu time cycle being part of a larger Hindu cycle, and citing the latter as a separate example.

Or about the 800 warriors going through the 540 doors and saying that not only is 540 divisible by 9 (part of the myth and is the base example), but that although 800 is not divisible by 9, but 540 x 800 = 432,000 is, and cite the latter as a separate phenomenon.

My name....

All the individual words are good......

Khoo adding up to 21 for prosperity and success

Hock adding up to 17 for overcoming all odds and obstacles to achieve name and fame

Leong adding up to 23 for favours from superiors

Khoo Hock Leong adding up to 61 for someone who is peacefu, love travelling (I love to watch travelling programmes) and has control over their self (everything).

Now by adding the word "Mac" to "Khoo Hock Leong", the total becomes 69 for honour, wealth, luck, fame, prestige etc.

I guess that is goodbye for a peaceful life.

Hi can I do a check with regards to vedic rules and principles.

According to joyd

I am.born on 6th Aug 1988 around 0218am midnight

However , when I posted my horoscope details regarding about the yogas I have,

There is this contributor called joyd.... she said that my birth date has to be corrected to 5th August and not 6th. Because I am born during midnight and according to her, the rules are from day time sunlight to the next day sunlight is considered one day. Hence my time during midnight is still before sunlight and hence has to be considered 5th August.

May I ask.if this is practised by all?
