Conjunction with Ketu

Namaste Neeraj Ji
I have Ketu conjunct Jupiter [Exalted, Retrograde] with Taurus Ascendant. I have observed tough times during my Sun-Ketu and Venus-Ketu Dashas mentally. Though Sun- Jupiter was very good and Moon-Jupiter at present is also good. Why is it so?

Any chart must be seen in totality and this dictum is not applicable to luminaries as there it causes Eclipse.
In your chart, Sun is with Rahu and Sat, hence Sun MD may not be that benefic.
The reasons for the same are: Taking Sun as Lagna, it is 8L. Sun is in the nakshatra of Moon who's placed in 8H from Sun. However, I feel Jup ADs might have proven good.

Plz note this post is for the planets who're in thier own/mool trikona or exaltation sign and at the same time conjunct with Ketu. Your chart does not fulfil these conditions.

Ketu needs the aspect of Jupiter or Yogakarka to give good results . Moreover if Ketu is in Kendra[1, 4, 7, 10] and making any relation with Trikone lord or it is in Trikone[ 1, 5, 9] and making any relation with Kendra lord, its Rajyogakarka.

as other learned members have pointed out, even in my experience i have seen venus and ketu in venusian sign actually increases the problem of consumption. the native has much wealth(Taurus) and many relationships (Libra) but is not satisfied because of ketu, he simply does not enjoy the material benefits, the sense of enjoyment is gone due to ketu being the ultimate diffuser.

i myself have exalted jupiter the lord of 8th in 3rd house with ketu, in every ketu antardasha i get interested in spirituality(guru) and occult (8th). on material plane though it does give losses like sudden joblessness(8th) during ketu antardasha to me. so that is my experience of ketu with exalted planet.

Jupiter conjunct Ketu in 10th house in navamsa.
Currently running Jupiter mahadasha ketu antardasha.

Will this concept give an opposite result?

In the MD/AD of Mars, you shd get good results.
Your Mars AD was in July 2008-09. However, this was the MD of Rahu. Plz share how was this time?

Thanks for your response. July 2008-09 was a rather turbulent period especially for my career. I decided to switch career track and pursue other options somewhere in Jan-March 2009 time period. However, this decision has greatly backfired and has not yielded much benefits so far.

I will appreciate if you can share some further insights in this regard.

Even on personal side, there was a lot of uncertainty and certain key decisions with long term effects had to be taken amidst this uncertainty during this time period. Eventually, these key decisions were taken purely by instinct and not much thought or analysis were used to analyze facts beforehand.

Sun and Moon are eclipsed by Rahu and Ketu.
As a general principle, Rahu or Ketu conjunct Sun or Moon are never good.
But the results will modify by other planetary positions (particularly by the aspect of Jup), operating dasha and the transits.

Running Jupiter MD and shani sade sati at the same time. waiting till after august to transit to Sun AD. you have probably seen my chart already under some other thread. This makes me think that a planet remains in it's sign of debilitation or exaltation for many days or months. Is it not a very generalized view?

For example a debilitated Venus conjunct Ketu will always give bad relationships?

I know a native with debilitated Venus with Ketu in D1. Ketu aspecting Venus (cancer) in D9. Also Ketu aspecting Venus in D60. Divorce to be finalized soon.
