1. Mercury+Mars in any house of the chart.

2. Mercury conjunct with a malefic in 9H

3. Mars in 3H without any aspect of benefic planet.

4.Mercury in the sign Aries.

5.Malefic planet in 4H or aspecting the 4H.

6. 4H is under papkatri Yoga.

7. 10L or 8L in 4H without benefic influence

Result The native will not be good at heart and will indulge in hypocrisy.

Some comments on the Yoga :

(1) This Yoga is worse when it is found in D10 where the hypocrite and cunningness turn into actions of misdeeds.

(2) Malefics in kendras in own signs aspecting the 4th house are aspecting from the standpoint of Mahapurusha Yoga. Thus they have altruistic motives in their actions whether you believe it or not.

(3) Moon sandwiched between Saturn and Jupiter causes troubles from gossips but the native usually comes up unscathed. This is from the classics. It is generally better for the Moon to go from Saturn to Jupiter. If, moreover, the Moon is conjuncting the fixed star Nashira, good follows. Here is the quote from the fixed stars website :

Depending on its position in the chart, it will bring a life full of change. Currently the position of Nashira is between 20 degree 43 minutes Aquarius (1900) and 21 degree 47 minutes Aquarius (2000) and so it is in Sidereal Capricorn.

Mars and Saturn are the natural rulers of the 1st and the 10th, whatever the karakas or digbalas of the 1st and the 10th, so they must be strong in D1 for the natural benefics to do their work either in D1 or the lower level divisions. The trouble with most people is that Mars and Saturn are not well placed in their chart.

Remember the following dicta :

Natural rulers have the final say in a house. Ascendant is the most important house in a chart. In D1 1st house is also the primary karya house. 10th to the 1st means 10th is also something like the 1st (although we take 11th, 3rd, 5th as Ascendants - 5th less by astrologers because the technique is not well known) although 10th is not a primary or secondary karya house and we never take 10th as an Ascendant since 10th is mostly concerned with image of the chart (yes, it applies also to divisional charts) which is something nebulous.

Greetings.

I saw one chart with Aries ascendant and both Mars and Saturn are retrograde and conjunct in Virgo (with in 6 degrees). Since they are in 6th, can we treat them as weak / negative and hence will affect the benefices? Also in this chart Jupiter is retrograde in Libra.

I do have unconventional thinking. .probably aquarius guru and Aquarius lagna along with 10th rahu also Jupiter in rahus nakshatra. .though sometimes its not appreciated ..also sometimes I do get carried away with an idea. .

Can you advise if I have chance of another stint abroad? Last was in ju - ve.

I think i have it too,
In D1:
Mercury in Aries in 10th house, Saturn and Mars conjunct in 7th.
In D10:
Mercury and mars conjunct in 10th in Aries.

If malefic influence on 4th house makes a person hypocrite then Ramakrishna Paramahansa has Rahu in 4th house and Swami Vivekananda has Saturn in 10 house aspecting 4th house. What should we conclude? There must be some other nullifying factors of this cunning/Kapti yoga. If any learned member knows kindly reply.

I have it too in 4th house in D1. Joined with Ketu though not in same nakshatra.

In 5th house in D9.

In 8th house in D10.

What is your take on this?

This time I don't think I agree with this at all.
I am not in marketing at all- have never been.
I wear my emotions on sleeve.

I am quite analytical I think. On the other hand, I don't have any kapat in me- I am brutally honest. I go out of the way to help and sometimes I have to be stopped by my family who think that my helping will make the other people think I have an ulterior motive to help.

I have this yoga in two houses. 6th and 4th. Does the aspect of Jupiter change it. He has 100% aspect in both houses. He is in 12th. I may be a kapti but feel the other way n feel like victim. Birth details august twenty eighth nineteen seventy four.
16.9300° N, 82.3300° E
