12 takes 1 month to change the signs and in a period of 12 months he would end up being in the same sign where he is placed at the time of our birth. Shiva and Parvati are our celestial parents hence when Sun and Moon are placed in the same sign at the time of our birth or the difference between these two planets are 12 degrees then it is understood that we are born again. This is called as Tithi Pravesha.

When the Sun and Moon are 12 degrees apart the tithi in which we are born is taken up and then we cast a chart which is called as Tithi Pravesha chart and it is read in the same way as we read the normal chart

Here we need to take some factors into account while reading the chart:

1)The placement of the Natal lagna with respect to the Tithi Pravesha lagna
2)The placement of Vara lord
3)The Nakshatra operating at the time of casting the chart

Taking all these into account astrologers cast the chart and read it in the normal manner and this is valid for a period of 12 months till the next birth day comes into effect
