I haven't taken any courses yet but I obviously plan to.
I can recommend a few books that will deepen your study
•••••Vault of the heavens - Ernst Wilhelm
••••An integrated approach - P.V.R Narasimha Rao
•••light on life - Hart de Fouw
••Ayurvedic astrology - David Frawley
•Book of Nakshatras - E. P. Trivedi
I would include Noel Tyl's book on Solar arcs for birth time rectification.
That should get you started
If you are missing any 1 of those books you really ought to get them.

Re: The Light on Vedic Astrology lessons
I have all the lessons and I kindly recommend this Online course. The course is very methodical and studious and Vaughn is an excellent teacher. Believe me, this is the best course of Vedic astrology, especially regarding invested / received.
Yes, the course has not yet been completed, but in the meantime you can fill some gaps with "Astro profiles" from this site - it's a joint study by Vaughn and Marc Boney, also great astrologer.
