If you are already worshipping or your family is having an affinity towards a particular goddess that is durga confirmed by the dreams you and your father had it is better that you please continue to worship Maa durga. It is not at all advisable to change goddess mid way.

The kula deivam seems to be lord shiva.It is not possible to find the exact kshetra and in these cases people are advised to take goddess lalita parameshwari of thirumiyaichur near thiruvarur in tamil nadu as their kula deivam.

that name for the place came from the word...Thiru muyarchiyoor....

If you can visit this temple once on a poornima day and after taking a sankalpa that she be your kula deivam and perform an abhisheka for the goddess and also the shiva linga there called Muyarchi nadhar, all should be fine.Please book it in advance.

You will get a job around september this year.

It is not ayyanar or kali.Actually the planet is jupiter here.Jupiters pratyati devata is lord dakshina murthy or ppl some times worship famous gurus like dattatreya, sai baba, raghavendra etc.So swaminatha swamy is also a guru.Hence please continue to worship swaminatha swamy.

It is very difficult to find kula devatha from single birth chart . We have to check whole family charts to study and identify the traits. Another route to identify the names of last seven generations from family tree information. Lastly we have to follow the advice of late paramacharya Sri Sri Sri chandrasekhara swamy, it is to identify the birth place and nearest famous temple. , because the vibrations of the deity will have influence in the child.
