Confusion on Ascendant - Please confirm Scorpio or Sagittarius?

Hi All,

I am posting a chart of my friend who is having some issues with regard to her personal life and there is also quite a confusion with regard to her natal ascendant. Her local astrologer says its Scorpio however some of the softwares are showing both Scorpio and Sagittarius. Sharing below her birth details as well as some incidents from her life which I am sharing with her consensus. Would be very grateful if you could help fix her ascendant

DOB : 15th Aug 1990
POB : Kollam, Kerala [76E37 8N53 DMS]
TOB : 14:30 to 14:39 pm

Incidents of her life:
1) She is little plump and about 5'3 in height
2) She has 2 younger sisters born in 1994 and 1996 respectively
3) She is married to a person who studied bio medical engineering but working in a business role that involves lot of travel. His birth details are 23 Aug 1986, 4.42 AM, Ras Al Khaimah - UAE (Cancer Lagna and moon in Revathi)
4) Her parents had a love marriage and both were born in 1964
5) Her marriage took place on Oct 26th 2014
6) She has done bachelors in Architecture in Ras Al Khaimah and joined for Masters in 2018 but dropped out due to an accident to her husband
7) In 2018 for few months she was working in Ras Al Khaimah in the same company that her dad worked which is into concrete ready mix company having construction projects.

Would be really grateful if you could help establish her ascendant. Thanks.

They found each other through Matrimony only.
Both of them studied in the same school but they did not know each as such. They found each other through Matrimony only. They started talking and guys dad called girls dad with proposal . Astrologers said horoscope matched and so they ended up getting married. It can be termed love cum arrranged as she married a known person.

Sir thanks for your reply. I am sorry because of the time gap I think my message was sent even before I read your last post. Sharing below observations;
1) Yes she is facing some issues in marriage and even contemplating taking divorce
2) I checked with her on toothache, she is saying she is not having any tooth issue.

Also additionally her husband suffered an accident by falling in the bathroom in Sep 2018. I also wish to tell you that her horoscope was matched for marriage taking Scorpio Lagna. All these years she has been taking like Scorpio Lagna only because an astrologer in Kerala told to take like this. But now lots of confusion.

Could you please confirm sir if she is Scorpio or Sagittarius Lagna? Thanks a lot.

I am taking sag as lagna and the following were my views.
Marraige occurred during moon antardasa ,moon is in 6th house so bad for marraige.
B sixth lord is venus and it is malefically aspecting 2nd house ,it can give multiple marraiges or relation ships.
C sat is aspecting venus in navamsa and sun also .
Generally marraige occurred if related to sixth house will break .
D at present sat antardasa running which is second lord ,which shows lot of misunderstandings ,worries etc .and also accident occurred during the current antardasa ,is he still in hospital and i feel it takes time to recover.
How is she loook wise is she black in colour.
Based on the feed back i will analyse with Scorpio asc

What made her to go for divorce any pointers

Thanks Vedam Ji for your response. Some points related to the one's you have mentioned.
1) She is little fat and about 5`3 in height and weighs around 80 kgs
2) She is quite fair looking and possesses black eyes.
3) She was born in a North facing house at her Mother's home in Kollam, Kerala.
4) Her husband accident happened in Sep 2018. He was under observation for 1 and half day and was not in ICU. They prayed a lot as she felt shaken by this sudden incident. He is fine now, . Being a workaholic he even started slightly working from the next day of accident(laptop) and went for work from the 3rd day of the incident.
5) Also I would like to add that she is not yet divorced in fact both husband and wife are living in the same house in Dubai. She is a little frustrated because of his constant travellings due to work and she also feels this may not work in long run. She also feels her husbands horoscope is not good for her and is worried about his debilitated Venus and Ketu placement in 3rd house. All these are bothering her and she is thinking if divorce would be better option. However as of now no divorce process has been initiated.

Looking forward to your response and also to see how things are aligning as per Scorpio Ascendant as well. Thanks a lot Sir.

With Scorpio lagna ,the following were my observations
A is she having good memory ,religious,having good education topper in class is she eldest in the family

15th Aug as the DOB throws some doubts. Are you sure it is the real DOB?

Hi Pink1,
The DOB of 15th Aug 1990 is definitely right. Its just that the time is between 2.30 to 2.40 making her either a Scorpio or Sagittarius ascendant for which she is having trouble finding the correct one.

Thanks for your response. Answering your questions below:

1) Yes she is having good memory and doesnt forget 'things easily
2) Education wise she was above average in school - was class topper in some of the classes. In college more of an average student.
3) She is moderately religious but not too devotional
4) She is the eldest in the family and is having 2 younger sisters.

Eager to know if she is reflecting more of Scorpio or Sagittarius ascendant traits. Thanks Sir

She is feeling very confused because different astrologers have been telling both ascendants but nobody is being able to confirm it exactly.
