Permanent settlement abroad

Is there any chance of permanent settlement abroad ? I have been to US/Canada on short business visits, worked in Canada long term ( 1 yr + between Feb 2017-June 2018).

Are there any chances of getting a Canada/US permanent residence ?

Current time looks stressful for father's health.
