Property dispute

Hello,

My dad and I bought a property in Pune back in 2016.
We paid the down payment.
Loan was approved, but we got to know that there is some ongoing case on the property and the govt ask to stop working or making any progress on building.

The construction was 60% complete of the society.
We even got our apartment completed before the notice, so we can live there.
But the society overall is having many issues apart from incomplete construction.

The apartment is in my name, my dad is secondary.

My question is will the dispute ever get over? The loan has not started yet which I believe is a good thing and loan will also not get approved until the dispute gets resolved.
Basically the dispute is with land that’s illegal but the builder said they got all approvals from govt and it was not mentioned anywhere that the land they bought had issues.
